Chapter 7: The Party

Y/N POV

(Time Skip-Saturday)

I woke up on  Saturday Morning with Jugheads arms around me like every morning. I then got a text from Betty saying everything for the party tomorrow was ready. I thanked her and she said your welcome. I then felt Jugheads arms grab my hips harder. I turned around to see Jughead cuddling into my back and saying "Good Morning Y/N/N".I smiled and said, "Good Morning Juggie, I see you're in a really good mood today".He looked up at me and smiled and said:"You know I love you right?"I said, "Of course and you know I love you more".He smirked at me and said"There's no way" and then kissed me. I kissed him back and deepened the kiss until I got a text and Juggie stopped kissing me. I then said, "ugh why, who had to text me".I checked my phone and it was Archie. He was asking if Jughead and I wanted to go to Pops. I said "sure".I then told Jughead to get dressed because we were going to Pops.W e then got ready and drove to Pops. When I parked the car Jughead and I saw Archie opening the door to Pops and sitting in a booth. We then got off of the car and sat at the same booth Archie was sitting at. We greeted him and smiled. We then saw Ronnie and Betty come towards the booth. They sat down as we all talked about FPs party. I asked, "Hey wheres Kevin?".Ronnie said,"he's on a date".I said, "with who?".Betty said, "He hasn't told us yet". We continued talking and stayed at Pops for hours. It was around 5:00 pm when everyone began to leave. Jughead and I were the last ones.We stayed for about another 30 minutes to drink a milkshake and we then left and went to Jugheads house. When we got there FP was sitting on the couch. He got up when he saw us and said: "I need to talk to both of you".We all sat down on the couch and FP said:"I'm not going to retire."Jughead and I looked at him confused. He then proceeded to say"There are so many problems right now with the Serpents that I just can't leave ".Jughead and I nodded and said, " We understand".Jughead said, "So is the party canceled?"Jughead and I looked up at FP and he said: "Of course not, The Serpents really need a party right now and tomorrow at the party I'll tell them I won't be retiring."Jughead and I smiled and we then watched a movie with FP. The movie ended and it was about 10:00 pm. Jughead and I went into his room and went to sleep and FP also went to sleep.

I woke up the next morning which was Sunday. I woke up to Jughead kissing me. I opened my eyes and smiled. Jughead said "Good Morning Y/N/N".I looked at him and said "Good Morning Babe".He smirked at me and kissed me. The kiss began to get intense but Jughead stopped it and said: "Let's go to Pops".We got ready and walked out of Jugheads room.W e saw FP sitting on the couch and we invited him to come to Pops with us. We all got in my car and drove to Pops. When we got there we sat in a booth and ordered. We then talked about the party. When our food came we began to eat, I was about to take a sip of my milkshake until Jughead took both of the cherries on my milkshake. I then looked up at him and he smirked at me. We finished eating and FP said if I could drop him home. Jughead and I decided to go to The Whyte Wyrm. Betty was there decorating. I wanted to help but she told me that she would take care of it because she needed the distraction and it relaxes her. I said "ok" and went with Jughead and Toni. We all began talking and then Sweet Pea and Fangs joined into the conversation. Jughead and I told them that FP had a huge announcement but we didn't tell them what it was. It was around 5:30 pm and I told Jughead that I needed to take Betty home to change. Betty and I went to my house so I could change. Then I took her to her house . I then called Ronnie, Archie, and Kevin if they wanted a ride they said yes and so Betty and I went to go pick them up. After Betty and I picked up Ronnie and Archie we drove to The Whyte Wyrm. I parked the car and we got off. We entered and Betty said she was going to finish the final touches. Ronnie, Archie, and Kevin went to talk to Jughead, Sweet Pea, and Fangs. Then Toni asked me "Are you ready?"I said, "I think so, I'm a bit nervous".She said, "It's ok, you're going to be great ". At this point it was 7:00 pm and everyone started to come to The Whyte Wyrm. The music was playing and Archie and Ronnie began to sing on stage. They sang 2 songs and everyone loved it. It was pretty late a d FP told me that in 10 minutes he was going to tell everyone the announcement. Ronnie and Archie were about to come down from the stage. I then looked at Toni and. she saw me and mouthed"Are you going to do it?".I then mouthed back"Yes, wish me luck".She smiled and gave me a thumbs up. I got on the stage and a slow song started to play. I then locked eyes with Jughead and he looked a little confused why I was on stage then I began to take my top off. Everyone's eyes were on me. I then walked to the pole and wrapped one of my legs on it.Then I took off my shirt and everyone started cheering. I then saw Jughead in the crowd and he didn't stop looking at me. I then climbed up the pole and swung down. People started cheering and I looked at the crowd and saw Jughead, I then bit my lip and he noticed so he smirked at me. I then got off of the pole and FP got on the stage and gave me a Serpent Jacket. He then hugged me and I got off stage. I put my Serpent Jacket on and I then saw Toni, Sweet Pea, Fangs, Kevin, Ronnie, Betty, and Archie clapping for me and congratulated me. I hugged them and walked toward Jughead. He saw me and he kissed me passionately and then he stopped the kiss and said: " You were great up there and smirked at me".I smiled and gave him a peck on the lips. Then everyone can hear FPs voice through the speakers and he starts by welcoming me to the Serpents then he says "I have an important announcement, I will not be retiring from the Serpents because there are many issues right now and it's just not right to leave especially now".Everyone then clapped and cheered because they were happy FP wouldn't be retiring. We then danced and had fun. It was around 12:00 pm and a lot of people began to leave. At last everyone left and Toni, Sweet Pea, Fangs, FP, Jughead, and I were the last ones. We all got in my car and went home. (Toni, Sweet Pea, and Fangs live in the same trailer park Jughead and FP live in so we took them home.)Finally, we were home and Jughead and I went to his room and went to sleep.
