Chapter 2: The morning after

Y/n POV

I woke up the next morning and received messages from a group chat that included Betty, Veronica, Archie, Jughead, and Kevin.

Group Chat:

Archie: Hey guys Do you guys want to meet at Pops for breakfast??

Veronica: Sure Archikins

Betty: yea sounds great!

Kevin: I'll be there!

Y/n: See you there!

Jughead: why not, I'll be there.

Y/n POV

I then got out of my bed and got dressed in some black ripped jeans, a white loose shirt, and some black heels. My parents were downstairs eating breakfast. Y/n are you going to eat breakfast said, my mom. I said, " yes but at Pops with my friends".I then got my car keys and drove to Pops. When I got there Betty and Veronica were already there. I sat down and they greeted me. I said "hey".I was thinking of Jughead and how he winked at me yesterday. I then asked Betty and Veronica what was Jugheads deal? They said that he was very shy and didn't really talk to many people. I was thinking of how we were so alike. Then my thoughts were interrupted by Betty and Veronica. They asked me "why, do you like him?".I got nervous but of course, I said yes because I do like him. I asked if he had a girlfriend and they said no. I instantly got happy. They just smiled and started telling me all about him.

Jugheads POV 

I just got to Archie house. We began walking to Pops. Archie then got a text from Kevin that said: " I'm on my way to Pops."Archie said, "Me too, I'm with Jug."I then asked what he thought about y/n. He said that he really liked her as a friend. I started telling him that I liked her but didn't know if she liked me back. Archie was happy for me because I didn't really like many girls before. We arrived at Pops and we saw Kevin who was about to open the door. Archie told him about my crush on y/n. He was excited for me and we all entered Pops. We walked towards the booth where Betty, Y/n, and Veronica were sitting and laughing. Kevin and I sat next to Y/n and Archie sat next to Veronica and Betty. Once I sat down y/n turned towards me and said " Hey Jug".I said " Hey Y/n".She seemed happy and smiled at me every once in a while. I noticed that she was flirting with me while everyone else talked. So I decided to flirt back this continued until Pop came to take our booth to take our order. We all ordered.

Y/n POV 

When Jughead sat down next to me I felt a rush of feelings going through my body. I really liked him but didn't know how he felt about me. So while everyone talked I began to flirt with him. After a while, he flirted back and this continued until Pop came to take our order. Everyone order and I was the last one to order.I ordered some fries and a vanilla milkshake with two cherries because I remembered how Jughead stole my cherry from my milkshake yesterday. We all continued talking and laughing till our food came. I began to eat my fries and was about to take a sip of my milkshake till Jughead stole one of my cherries. I looked up at him as he ate the cherry. He noticed that I was staring at him and he said " earth to y/n/n".I snapped out of my thoughts and took a sip of the milkshake. He once again stole my cherry and smiled at me. I smiled back and we started at each other's eyes. Then I turned to my left to see everyone in our booth staring at us. I then looked down and sipped a little from my milkshake as Jughead started a conversation. Jughead once again looked over to me and smiled.I smiled back and I noticed that he winked at me again and that made me blush. He noticed and smiled and took a sip of his milkshake. We all have been at Pops for about 2 hours. Betty got a call from her mom and had to leave. We said goodbye after 25 minutes we all began to leave. Archie went home and so did Kevin.Veronica left 15 minutes and Jughead and I were alone. We talked and flirted until it was about 3:00 pm.W e began to get in my car and drove to his house. He invited me in and we watched movies until it got dark. In one of the movies, I began to fall asleep. I hugged Jughead very close until I woke up to see him also asleep. I noticed that he had a hard grip around my body. I checked the time on my phone and saw that it was 10:35 pm. I tried to slowly get up without waking him up but he ended up waking up.

Jugheads POV 

Y/n/n and I fell asleep on the couch and I woke up to see her trying to release my grip from her body. I released my grip and she saw my eyes open. She said " sorry for waking you up.".I said it was fine. We looked into each other's eyes for a couple of seconds. She said, " I have to go". "Then go, " I said."I don't want to" is all I hear. We got close to each other's faces and our lips almost touched. We just froze until I kissed her. We kissed for a couple of minutes until she said: " Jug I need to go".I didn't want her to leave so I continued to kiss her. She slowly sat on my lap, straddling me. We kissed for about 5 minutes until I hear her whisper " Juggie I need to go ".I hated the idea of her leaving but I said ok.S he saw the sadness in my eyes and she kissed me one last time before she got off of my lap.S he was about to open the door and she blew me a kiss and said: " I'll text you".I said " ok y/n/n".Once she opened the door and left, I laid on the couch thinking about our kiss and how I wanted it to continue.

Y/n POV

Once I exited Jugheads house I got in my car and sat there for a moment thinking about our kiss. I turn the car on and began to drive. I called Veronica to tell her the amazing news. She answered and said " Hey, Girly".I said, " Hey, GUESS WHAT!!"

Veronica: What Happened??

Y/n: After everyone left Pops jughead and I stayed there till 3:00 and finally went to his house. We watched movies at 10:30 pm and we both fell asleep and we were hugging each other. After that, we had a moment HE KISSED ME !!!

Veronica: OMG!!

Y/N: I KNOW!!!

Veronica: I'm so happy for you! Are you going to meet up with him tomorrow??

Y/N: I don't know I told him that I would text him later.

Veronica: Oh ok.Well...I have to go Archies here!

Y/N: oh are you guys dating??

Veronica: YES

Y/N: I'm happy for you!!!

Veronica: Thanks but I have to go ttyl

Y/N: ttyl

Y/N POV

I finally got home and ran upstairs to my room. I changed into my PJs and unlocked my phone to text Jughead.

( Text Messages)

Y/N: Hey Juggie

Juggie👑🍔: Hey Y/N/N

Y/N: What are you doing tomorrow??

Juggie👑🍔: Nothing. 

Y/n; Want to meet up tomorrow??

Juggie👑🍔: Sure, At Pops??

Y/N: Sure

Juggie👑🍔: Ok see you then goodnight Y/N/N

Y/N: Goodnight

Juggie👑🍔: sweet dreams Y/N

Jugheads POV

Y/N and I are going to meet up tomorrow!i really want to kiss her again. I want to feel her soft lips against mine.
