' this represents thoughts'
"This represents speech"
I awoke to the slight clanking of dishes being set on the table and muffled conversation. The smell of breakfast drifted its way into my room. A smile spread across my face as I sat up and stretched looking into the mirror that sat upon the bureau in front of me. It had only been a few weeks since Dark brought me here but the bruises on my body were recovering quickly. The once swollen and discolored bruises that should have taken two or four weeks were now barely visible on my arms and legs The ones on my face had disappeared completely all thanks to both Dark and Anti's meticulous care. I had even began to gain some weight due to Anti always pressuring me to eat three times a day. Thinking back, I had begun to remember the first time I woke up.
I had been unconscious only for a day. My eyes flying open to a dimly lit room just as I lurch myself off the bed. Tears in my eyes formed due to the pain I felt in every inch of my body that now felt as it was jolted through my core thanks to how I had fallen onto the carpet. Siting up I felt a sharp pain in my side causing a slight yelp to disperse from my lips. Suddenly the door sprung open as two men came dashing in one running straight at me the other turning the lights on as he entered. Distinctively I put my hands up in front of myself shielding any possible blows or attack with my eyes clamped shut. When none came I suddenly heard him speak.
"There, there it's ok" he said soothingly. I peeked at him from behind raised arms "Let me help you up" he smiled as he offered me a hand. My eyes focusing on his as I noticed they were some sort of a crimson brown. I was so confused by him, that when I was suddenly quickly pulled up to stand. I almost lost my footing until the same man wrapped his arms around me sweeping me up as if i was a little kid. it was surprisingly comfortable. I looked up at him once again before resting my head against his chest. listening to his heart I soon felt like I was in a sleepy daze, until I heard someone clear their throat. Turning my head I saw the other man who stood taller than the man holding me with a slightly annoyed expression as he folded his arms. Probably sensing this the dark haired man opted to help me gently sit on the bed. "There now lass, that ought-a -be much better than the floor. I nodded as he approached dropping down to one knee in front of me. My eyes caught glimpses of his face as my hair fell over my face covering it. With his right hand he reached towards me pushing it behind my ear and smiled. That was when I saw it. His eyes were blue as the sky. I had never seen anything like them before and I was amazed. Thanks to an awkward moment of staring I began to realize I was face to face with a complete stranger not making a word of conversation. I started to feel the heat of a slight blush of embarrassment to tinge my cheeks casting my eyes away.
Without looking back I felt his palm against my forehead. "You don't seem to have a fever but ya look flushed. Are you alright?" he looked at me with concern as I quickly turned and nodded my head yes. Smiling once again he looked at me but then I saw his eyes trail down my arms and legs. Curious at what was so distracting I looked down in horror. I saw I was covered in dark purple bruises. With a gasp I looked across to the mirror as my face was bruised an my lip was swollen. I quickly turned and I let out a cry as the crimson eyes man quickly stood in front of the mirror. Tears filled my eyes as I began to breathe heavily. Panic sat in as the question of 'what happened to me?!' Raced through my mind. I closed my eyes gripping my chest. I felt like I couldn't breathe as hard as I try. The same question kept running through my mind over an over an over an over! Until I felt hands on my shoulders as they shook me.
"Alice!" a voice yelled cutting through to my thoughts causing me to open my eyes. "Alice you need to listen to me" I looked at the cause of the voice it was the man who held me before. Why was he here? Who was he? "Alice! You need to relax you can breathe!" there it was again the voice from the man with crimson eyes. What was he calling me? I began to feel woozy as the man with the blue eyes suddenly shoved the other man away yelling" Dark move she is having a panic attack! " as as he grabbed my shoulders looking into my eyes. Although now his eyes were green? No not green. They were blue and had a green tint to them. 'How odd' I thought. "Just breathe lass. It's going to be okay I'm going to help you. Just please breathe for me." he begged as I nodded my head as I kept staring into his eyes. he had told me to inhale slowly and count backward with him as i exhaled. The entire time he held my shoulders looking into my eyes. Comforting me.
