Hot Tub

I was at a hotel in Cali by myself. I’ve been working really hard at college for the past semester and knew that a little vacation was needed. I had put on my black bikini and went down the pool. Thankfully, nobody was there. I put my stuff aside on one of the chairs and got into the hot tub. The hotness of it sent a relaxing wave over my body. I laid my head back on the tile floor and just stayed there.

I never noticed that another person had come in. I must’ve been falling asleep. I looked up at the person who had come into the hot tub and could tell he had been looking at me. “I’m sorry. I’m not bothering you, am I?” He asked. “Of course not.” I said and laid my head back again. It was silent for awhile and I just let the bubbles and the heat take over my body. “Are you okay?” I heard him say.

I looked up again but didn’t say anything. “You just look a little down I guess.” He said. “Oh yeah, I’m fine. Just a little stressed out.” I said. “Do you want to talk about it?” He asked, looking concerned. “It’s just college. That should pretty much sum it up.” I answered. He nodded his head. “I’ve never been to college but I heard it can be stressful.”

It went back to being silent but then finally I said, “Hey, I’ll race you to the pool.” I was already getting out of the hot tub when he finally got what I said. He smiled widely and ran towards the pool. He caught up to me quickly and grabbed my waist before throwing us both in the pool. I squealed and laughed at his actions. When we surfaced he laughed too and showed his big smile.
