Annoying Love

We were having one big hang out at Nash’s house. It was crazy because when they are all together, everyone is making vine’s, doing smack Cam’s and there are always about 5 different conversations going on at once. Not to mention, there is no getting them to calm down. But I loved hanging out with them and they always invited me over. The only thing I hated was that Cameron was always there.

Me and Cameron never got along. I think it was because we were both the same age and he acted so immature. If you’re 19 years old, you should act like it. You shouldn’t act like Hayes, who is 6 years younger than him, but yet he does. And it drives me nuts. His stupid comments and jokes he makes, all the screaming he does, and even the moves he makes are annoying. That’s why he hates me; because I DON’T act like him. Apparently I’m too mature for him. Which, why should I care?

I was in the kitchen, taking a break from their madness and making some snacks for them to eat. I heard rustling behind me and looked back. “What are you doing in here?” I asked. “Just thought I’d get a drink. Is that a problem?” He asked. “Never said it was.” I answered. “What are you doing?” He asked. “What does it look like I’m doing?” I answered. He laughed shortly. “Why must you always act this way?” He asked.

”Act what way?” I asked back. “Well you are always sassy with me. You not sassy with anyone else.” He said. “Maybe that’s because me and you obviously don’t get along.” I answered. “But why?” He pushed. He stepped towards me. I turned around to face him. “Look, Cameron, I don’t know, okay? You always say that I’m sassy but you’re not any better with me.” I said, getting annoyed. He smiled and laughed. “Want to know something?” He asked, breaking the silence. “Not really.” I said turning back around to finish making sandwiches.

It was quiet. “You’re cute when you’re sassy.” He said finally, sort of quietly. He used a different tone. One I never heard him use with me or the other guys. Kind of a cute one. I stopped what I was doing. I turned around and noticed Cameron was closer to me than he was before. “Excuse me?” I asked, raising my eyebrows. “You heard me.” He said before walking even closer. It was only then that I had realized how cute he was. I’d never really noticed before, but I didn’t care before. Now was different. He walked closer to the point our bodies were touching. I let it happen. He lifted my chin and kissed me softly on the lips. “I should get back to making snacks.” I said while laughing. He nodded his head and left. What exactly had just happened?
