I wrap my hands around his neck, and kiss him back.
Daniel puts one hand on the small of my back, pulling me closer, and the other on the side of my neck.
As we're kissing, fireworks explode. My whole body feels as if it's about to melt.
He breaks the lock that our lips were in just for a second, to speak. "I love you. Always have. Always will." He goes in for another kiss. I pull back, leaving confusion on his face.
"What?" he questions.
"It's just- I don't get it."
He looks puzzled. I sigh, and go on.
"You're dating Annabelle, and you were trying to turn me into a...creature,"
"Hybrid." he corrects me.
"Hybrid.., anyways and now Destiny sends that text, and I'm expecting you to be all-" I'm cut off.
His speckled blue eyes widen. "Wait. Destiny wrote that??"
I made it sound bad. Shit.
"No!" I exclaim. "I-"
"So you didn't even know she sent it when I was reading it??" he cut me off again.
"Daniel, listen to me." I plea. "Destiny sent it, I typed it. I was about to hit send earlier, but then Derek walked in and I put my phone away, so I could carry my stuff." I sigh. "I honestly never wanted you to see it. I needed time to think. But those were my words."
A tear sheds from my eye. Daniel takes his hand and wipes it away.
I suddenly have a change of heart. "I have to go." I lie. I don't have anywhere to be.
"To go see Tyler?" he snaps.
I glare at him. "Don't you have somewhere to be?" I snap back at him. "Go find Annabelle." I say and go find Niall again.
"Hello, love." He smiles at me.
I pull him by his wrist into his room, closing the door behind me.
I hug him tightly.
"Are you okay?" he asks me, returning the hug.
"I don't know." I reply.
He pulls back a little, just enough to see my face.
I sigh, and pull my phone out of my back pocket.
He looks confused.
I hand it to him. He types in a passcode, but it's incorrect. He stops to think about it for a second. He then types another one, failing again. He looks at me, and I tell him, "3-6-5-6"
He types it in, and scrolls up a little. He sits down on the bed, and I follow, reading over his shoulder.
His eyes are wide as he reads.
"I didn't know you still like him." He says, and a new expression shows in his eyes. It looks like hurt, but I'm not sure..
"Neither did I... sort of."
He has a confused look on his face.
I sigh, and begin to explain. I start at the very beginning. Ish.
"Earlier today, I ended things with Tyler." He smirks, and I roll my eyes at him. "He was being..." I trail off trying to find the right words to use.
Niall steps in. "An ass?"
I open my mouth to scold him for calling Tyler an ass, but the words never come out. Because it's true. It really is. I just never realized it.
"I wasn't exactly going to use those exact words..." I say and Niall chuckles. "But sure. I guess I just totally lost interest. I saw nothing in him. Nothing. Not even a soul." We both laugh at that. "And on top of that, I was always told that you ALWAYS have your eyes on someone. But your heart is beating for someone too, you just may not know for who.
