You walked into the nightclub, the deep bass immediately rattling your bones. Your whole body was vibrating with the power of the music and you noticed how uneasy Chase had become at the feeling. It was... Different, to see Chase's expressions on his holoform. He was still the same police-bot you knew, but his body was incredibly different. He was still adjusting to it, you knew.

"Took you three long enough!" Kade pushed through the crowd, holding a drink in his right hand. A man followed him from behind, his firm arms crossed protectively across his chest. It took you a few moments to realize who the man was, but the murderous, "why have you brought me here?" glare gave it away.

Heatwave was about Kade's height, maybe a few inches taller with wide shoulders. He had charcoal black hair, which was swept carelessly back. His eyes were similar to Chase's in color but much different in expression. His chiseled jaw was adorned with slight stubble.

Behind Heatwave stood Graham and Boulder, who were tailed by one man who appeared to be Blades. Blades was obviously the daintiest of the three, moving swiftly behind Dani's shoulder as he nervously glanced around the busy Nightclub. Boulder seemed fascinated by the pounding music and the humans, his blue eyes gleaming excitedly.

"Well aren't you three looking snazzy!" You teased, looking them up and down. Heatwave huffed and rolled his eyes. Blades and Chase shared a light blush while Boulder seemed to have completely missed your comment.

"(Y/N), have you seen the drinks here?!" Kade gave a lopsided grin, already a bit tipsy. You snorted and shook your head.

"I'm glad you're already having a good time, Kade..."

"And out of all of us, our wittle Chase decided to bring some highgrade." Heatwave cooed,  clapping Chase roughly on the shoulder, startling him.

He stammered, eyes widening. "I-I-I- W-well, it was more of a group choice-!"

"Tsk, tsk. Excuses, excuses..." Heatwave interrupted, still grinning.

"High... What?" You looked between them.

"Basically what'll get the 'bots drunk," Kade explained lazily.

Chase looked incredibly offended at the thought. "Drunk!? Of course not! We would never dare to become charged... Rescue Bots must always be alert and vigilant!"

Heatwave scoffed. "You're just embarrassed you can't handle more than a shot."

Chase huffed, grumbling under his breath.

Blades shrugged. "I haven't really had the time or need to have highgrade..." Boulder continued to look around, humming softly.

"Okay, okay! Enough yapping! It's time to, party!!!" Dani grabbed Graham and Blades tugging them toward the dance floor as they both protested loudly. Boulder decided to curiously follow the three.

You moved closer to Chase, speaking. "You should at least get a little tipsy... Tonight is the night to let loose. You won't have many other chances like this..."

He jumped at your sudden closeness. "I suppose... But I would prefer not to humiliate myself in front of everyone.  Especially Chief Burns..."

"I'm sure a little bit can't hurt." You give him a reassuring smile. He sighed in defeat as you showed him the way to the bar.

Heatwave and Kade had disappeared into the crowd, leaving only Chase and yourself behind. The bartender served you the drink you had asked for, glancing at Chase who was fidgeting quietly with his fingers. "Would you like anything, sir?"

The disguised police-bot looked up, searching for a reply. "I am... Okay. For now."

You smiled and nudged him. "So... Or are you going to have that highgrade?"

"Heatwave most likely is possessing it..." He huffed and slipped off of his stool, making his way toward where he had last seen the fire-bot.

You tapped the counter, taking a sip of your drink which was surprisingly bitter. Chase returned a few minutes later with a small glass filled with a liquid that seemed to almost glow. He sat down onto the stool next to yours, setting the glass onto the counter.

"Woah..." You breathed, looking it over. "Can it harm humans?"

"I am not entirely sure, but I would not like to find out." He gingerly held the glass to his lips. You watched him, turning to your drink when you realized he might find your scrutinizing a bit creepy...

There was an angered shout from the dancefloor, the familiar voice belonging to Heatwave. You and Chase glanced at each other, moving toward the source of the voice. A few people were backing away as Heatwave viciously glared at three human men, Blades nervously stumbling into Boulder. They had obviously upset him in some manner.

"What's going on?" You murmured to Graham who was standing next to Dani.

"Some kind of rude confrontation with Dani..." He adjusted his glasses nervously.

Chase stepped up to Heatwave and murmured softly to him. Heatwave snarled and continued to glare at the man.

"Dumbass..." The man sneered.

Heatwave lunged forward, swinging his fist at the man's jaw. Chase was quick to respond, his arm shooting out to grab onto Heatwave's, pulling him back. He muttered quickly to the angered bot once more.

"Dani... We should get going..." You spoke to her quietly.

"What?! We've spent barely any time here..."

"It's not worth it..." You huffed as Chase glanced at you tugging on Heatwave's arm gently. Heatwave spun away from the men and angrily began to stomp away, only to come to a stop as they taunted Chase and himself.

"Heatwave..." Chase growled warningly. Heatwave slowly turned, walking back to the men.

"Don't worry." He looked back at Chase who tilted his head in confusion. "I'll only break his nose." The fire-bot then spun back and slammed his fist into the man's face, causing him to stagger back.

And just like that, people began swarming around like a nest of disturbed bees. The dizzy man held his obviously broken nose, snarling in outrage.

Heatwave smirked victoriously, while Chase began to angrily drag him toward the door, not having much success. The man's goons swiftly moved forward, aiming to hurt anyone who seemed to know Heatwave. Including you.

In mere seconds, Chase had released Heatwave and was charging to your side. You looked at him, narrowing your eyes. "I can defend myself."

"Rescue Bots are here to protect." He said simply, growling daringly at one of the attackers. "At least I managed to hold Heatwave back. If I hadn't had warned him, he could've possibly killed that man. That punch was barely a flick of his digit."

There was a crack and you quickly turned to see Graham tumble back into Boulder, his glasses obviously broken.

Before anyone could respond, there was the faint wail of approaching an approaching siren. You glanced at Dani who had a look of absolute terror on her face.

People scattered almost immediately, not wanting to get caught in between the chaos. The siren became louder as a vehicle approached, pulling into the parking lot. And out stepped Chief Burns.

"Frag..." Heatwave groaned, rubbing his faceplates.

Also- Don't mind that little mild swear up there- Sorry...

There also isn't as much alcohol in this chapter as I was previously planning...-
