your life was a whole mess of problems that kept on piling up. it didn't stop growing; it never will be finished.

holding onto that last strand of hope that you would make things right someday was the only thing that willed you to live.

but slowly, it was beginning to seem as if that thread's been long cut. 

you didn't know your purpose; you didn't even know if you had one.

it was tiring to think at times, because in the end, you'd end up becoming like a crying child.

the tears wouldn't stop falling, as if they were waterfalls on your cheeks.

your hair would be all over the place, from all your pulling and moving.

your chest would tighten from losing breath, but somehow, there was this space that that certain pain filled.

it was like you needed it to know you're alive.

but you weren't okay with that.

you wanted to just close your eyes.

and disappear.

why was such a simple request so hard to give?

simply because it wasn't as uncomplicated as you thought.

you matter to someone.

you will matter to someone.
