ashton was one of the types of guys that did everything his own way. he did things people wouldn't expect, yet it was so easy to happen. people just didn't really respect it in society, but that was okay because ashton didn't respect people. his actions were minor, such as spitting on the sidewalk. things that didn't really come off as necessarily bad, but with how ash did them and the way he looked changed it all.

he was covered in tattoos, works of art covering both arms as well as his neck. sure he smoked, although it wasn't too often. while some of his friends did the action so often that they were going through a pack of cigarettes each day, ashton stuck to one or two individuals.

he almost never smiled, just because he couldn't find many things that made him happy enough to make him smile. most of his friends liked him best when ash was with his boyfriend; little flower crown lucas. the two were completely opposite, ash being covered in tattoos while luke had none. while luke had flowers in his hair ash had piercings in his ears.

yet somehow they found each other, and instantly became attached. both boys had been in a club one night, luke involuntarily going with his friends while ash was just there for the hell of it. although luke wasn't very punk, his friends had made him dress more casually that night, a black muscle tank and skinny jeans, as well as the bracelets the lad already wore. they usually wouldn't have given a shit, but they knew that if their friend went to the club in a flower crown, he'd get his ass beaten.

ash had approached luke, asking why 'such a pretty thing' was left on his own at a bar stool, drink in hand. he wasn't drunk at all, and he was actually only half way through his first drink. luke had ignored his burning cheeks and nodded to the dance floor. "the friends i came with are wasted and either grinding on chicks or fucking."

ash had simply laughed. "and you're not joining? that must be such a shame."

luke shrugged, looking down at his lap as ash took a seat next to him. "i'm not really into that... plus i don't think that there are many gay guys here," luke hinted not so subtly. ashton's grin only grew wider.

"well, it looks like you've found one of the few, my dear." luke's head shot up, looking at ash in shock. sure, that lad had somewhat flirted with the blonde when first approaching, but luke didn't expect it to be a gesture saying that he was attracted to men, let alone lucas.

so that's how it started, two completely different people getting to know each other at a club.

now luke and ash were stood with the punk lad's friends, ashton's arm around luke's waist almost protectively. the group had laughed at something ryan said, who was a kid with black hair and blue eyes.

ash didn't have too many friends, only maybe 5, which were all in the small group. it was ryan, amanda, oscar, nathan, and jay. sure luke was his friend, but he put him into the boyfriend category (which only had luke in it, of course) instead of the friends category.

but then jay spoke up, and the mood got darker. "so ash," he started with a small smirk. "how did you end up with the flower boy? he seems way too nice for you. as well as attractive." he shot a wink in luke's direction, which caused the blonde to look down, breath hitching slightly. he knew how easily and how jealous ash could get, so at this point he was just waiting.

ash's arm tensed, pulled luke into him and wrapping his other arm around luke as well, with the younger's back now to them as ashton glared at jay. "excuse me?" he practically hissed.
