Alphonse and Edward were out for months to get their normal bodies back. I couldn't take the wait anymore so I decide to go out on a journey by myself. I love Al so much but I can't wait anymore.
I wrote him a letter for whenever he comes back.
"Dear Al,
The thought of you gone for who knows how long made me give up. I love you with all my heart but sadly I can't wait anymore. I really hope you have your body back when you read this but I'm gonna go away for a long time and hopefully find a new love... I know you probably don't love me but I thought you should know...I love you and I'm sorry...

I sealed the letter and I walked over to the Rockbell's house.
"(Y/N)! What are you doing here?" Winry asked shocked
"Hey Winry...I'm going away for a long time...but I want you to give this letter to Alphonse when he returns" I say
"Is it your love letter!" Winry says with a smirk
I look down and said sadly "in a way..."
"Well be safe (Y/N)! Trust me I'll give this to Alphonse!" She says enthusiastically waving bye
*5 year time skip*
I arrive back home finished with my adventure.
I managed to find love but it didn't compare to what I had with Al.
Based on Winry, Al found a lover so I'm happy for him.
It's been a couple months since I heard that news but I've been invited to Winry and Ed'a wedding.
I was the maid of honor.
The wedding is in a hour so I quickly got dressed and made my way to the wedding.

" (Y/N)! You made it!" He says beaming
I nod smiling faintly
"So I got your letter... and I wanted to say I love you too (Y/N) but you probably have someone else..." he says blushing looking down disappointed
I shake my head no and said "I did have someone but it was nothing like how I felt for you...how's your girlfriend" I asked
"I broke up with her realizing you were the one I loved" he replied blushing
I looked up at him shocked but smiled lightly
"So who's your date to your brothers wedding" I asked shyly
"Hopefully you!" He said beaming at me
I quickly pull him into an embrace
"Definitely! I'd love to be your date!" I say smiling kissing him on the lips
He hesitated at first but slowly melted into the kiss and kissed back.
"ABOUT TIME (Y/N)!" Winry screams
"YEAH AL!" Ed screams
We blush and al says a little embarrassed "don't you have a wedding!"
