Skye's POV

Me and Ethan have been sneaking around for a week now.

Mostly because I didn't want Mia to know. Ever since I told her Ethan and I kissed she's been acting weird. I don't know how'd she react if I told her we where seeing each other.

Ethan leaned into the target cart, "so what are we doing here?"

I look at a few things at the cheap things section, "just killing time."

He laughs, "okay."

I look through a few more things.

Ethan taps me on my shoulder. I look at him. He had a Batman mask on. I couldn't help but laugh. He was such a dork.

"I'm Batman." He says, trying his best to impersonate Batman's voice.

"I'm in love with a loser."

"What can I say, I'm a keeper." He had on a cheeky grin.

I start to walk and he follows me with the cart. We stop at the section with all the music and movies.

I love target. It's my happy place. I come here to get away from all the drama at school sometimes. I always say I'm not gonna buy anything but end up with a bunch of things I don't need.

Ethan bends down and grabs an album, "no way! 5sos has a new album? I thought they broke up."

I look at him in disbelief, "you're kidding."

He shakes his head, "nope."

He places the album back on the shelf.

I spot a familiar face.

"Oh my god, Ethan! It's Kian."

His face was full of worry. I didn't know why but I shook it off.

I was gonna go say hi to him but he beat me to it.

He had a big grin on his face, "what are you two doing here."

Ethan slings his arm around me, "shopping." He had a bitter tone in his voice.

Kian nods, "so are you two like a thing?"

My eyes widened in alarm.

"Yes." Ethan blurted out.

Kian clicked his tongue, "I'm gonna get going."

Kian starts to walk away and Ethan stares him down.

I turn to him, "what was that?"

"Nothing."

"What do you mean nothing? You just told him we were dating. What happened to being low-key?"

"Screw low-key." He smiles and slings both of his arms around my waist, "the whole world should know I love you."

His words made me smile like a dork.

I was so in love with him.
