Ethan's POV

I was waiting for Skye downstairs.

If looks could kill Mia would've already killed me.

"What happened to letting her go?" Mia whispers so Skye couldn't hear, even though she was upstairs.

I shrug, "I'm sorry Mia, I really am. But I love her."

She bites the inside of her cheek, "fine."

"Wait, really? You're letting me off that easy?" There was surprise in my voice.

"Look, Ethan. I see the way you look at her. You never looked at me like that. And I do believe you will change for her, I already see progress. Plus, she's fallen for you so hard. I just don't want to see her get hurt." She gives me a little smile.

I smile back, "thanks, M."

"Hey! We're still not friends."

"Sure." I wink.

I hear footsteps coming down the stairs. My face brightened once I saw her.

I stand up from where I was sitting on the couch and approach her.

I cup her face with my hands and connect our lips.

I pull away and raise an eyebrow, "is that a new perfume?"

She nods, "yep." She popped the p.

"We should get going."

She nods in agreement.

"You two have fun." Mia tells us.

We hold hands as we walk through the boardwalk. The cool breezy air from the beach hit us.

I've never been this happy.

Ever.

Skye pulls my arm, "Ethan! Let's ride the rollercoaster."

I look at the mini rollercoaster in front of us, "you sure you're not scared?" I raise an eyebrow.

She gasps, "how can you say such a thing! Are you scared."

I laugh, "me? Ha! That's funny."

"Let's go buy tickets then!"

"Okay, okay!"

She runs, still holding my hand.

We stand in front of the ticket booth for the roller coaster.

"Two tickets for the rollercoaster, please." I hold up two fingers.

The guy hands be the tickets and I give him the money.

"I could've made for myself!" Skye complains.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Let's just ride the rollercoaster."

I lay on my bed thinking about how my life has changed since Skye. Thinking about everything made me smile like a big doofus.

Everything about her was amazing.

Her eyes reminds me of an ocean. I get lost just looking at them.

Her laugh is the best thing I've ever heard.

Her smile makes me melt inside.

Her voice is like an angel.

She was my angel.

My phone buzzing interrupts my train thought.
