So my friend asked me to write a chapter explaining this book.

I wanted to do a short story that had a deep meaning behind a serious concept:

"you dont know what someone is going through."

The characters in this story Park Jimin and Kim Namjoon are meant to represent two people with completely different backgrounds. Park Jimin was depressed and had been planning his suicide for months. Note he didnt talk much. The mute-ness(?) was meant to represent NML, short for nobody loves me. He was broken, something had happened to him that sent him into depression. Depressed people tend to talk less and are afraid of opening up. If would have spoke to Namjoon more he probably would have backed out of killing himself and he knew that.

Kim Namjoon was meant to represent A form, or the happy version of someone. He was popular and had a boyfriend at the time named Jin. Though I dont give much information of the two, there is always a bigger meaning behind the things I write. Namjoon became fascinated with Jimin when he saw him at the beach a week prior to when the story first take place. As the first chapter notes; he was there almost everyday. Namjoon hadn't seen him before and the boy was cute to him, so he wanted to befriend Jimin.

In this story there are three forms a person can be;

A from: The happy version of a person

B form: The sad version 

NLM form: Nobody loves me

Examples of each would be:

A form: Namjoon for most of the book, and Hoseok. Though I dont give information on the Barista he is a happy kid.

B Form: Jeon Jungkook and Kim Taehyung. They are only sad because their bestfriend died.

NLM form: Min Yoongi and Kim Namjoon after Jimin's death. Min Yoongi had a crush on Park Jimin and no longer wanted to feel. Kim Namjoon had grown a liking to the boy and now feels broken because the boy left him so quickly.

The next thing I would like to address is the basket.

The basket may have just seemed like a basket but it was metaphorical for Namjoon passing on his love to the boy.

When Jimin left the basket on the beach it contained four things:

~ The letter

~ a promise ring

~ his pastel blue shoes

~ and it had a polaroid in it. The on Namjoon found online, in which he learned his name.

he specifically wanted the entire basket returned to Namjoon.

The pastel sneakers represented what carried Jimin. That is until he took them off, that's when Namjoon carried the boy emotionally.

Jimin's body was found shoeless and his wrists were slit.
 He wasn't murdered, no, but it wasn't being drowned that killed him. 
Jimin swam out far enough until he couldn't touch the ground, razor in hand and slit his wrists. He didnt want his lungs to be filled with salt water before he died, he thought that is the worst way to die. He stayed on top until his body finally died from blood loss.
He was wearing the outfit from the polaroid, knowing it would be something tainted in memory, like he was mentally.

His body was washed up two hours later.
Found by his bestfriend, Jeon Jungkook, when he came to pick him up for school that morning.

When he found Jimin's body thirty yards away from where the basket was left.
