It had been a few days since the dream. Things between me and Bucky were just serene.
But I knew.
Oh.
I knew he was gonna burst eventually.
A soldier always has to be alert of the enemy's actions in battle. Steve taught me that. And I knew that the other much more ungodly soldier (Bucky) was gonna wait till I was vulnerable to roll his dice.
Although..I pretended like it was just a game...I knew that deep within me. There was a strange little spark that would just show up at the thought of him.
That same spark that happened when I first looked into his deep eyes that were once empty.
And I wished,
no. Hoped. To know
That at the moment he also felt the same.
BUCKY
There was something strange about the way she moved.
The way she spoke.
The way she was.
That was what caught my attention even as the Winter Soldier.
But now it felt as if everything in the world had moved just to fit that perfect moment when we would meet again. As if the stars aligned just the right way. The air in the room shifted. The wind and the waves stopped. Just to see that moment when we would meet. When night meets day and creates a perfect sunset.
And the strangest part was that even in her darkest moments she lit up an entire room by just being there.
BAM!
"BUCK!"
3rd PERSON POV
Steve had been trying to get the spaced out soldiers attention for about 5 minutes now. But he was completely out...so what was the marvelous idea Momma Steve got?
He picked up a shoe and threw it at Bucky's face.
"BUCK!"
"OUCH! WHAT?!"
"Hydra invaded. Suit up."
"What?"
"BUCK. INVASION. SUIT THE HECK UP."
"WANDA!"
"YES?!" She yelled to Steve from upstairs
"SUIT UP!"
(Le time skip!)
The group is driving towards a little town nearby but not too close to be searched. Steve was explaining to the avengers what'd be the agenda for the days to come.
"Apparently Hydra is trying to get revenge for what happened to S.H.I.E.L.D. So we gotta go off the grid. So.
We're going to an underground facility in Aurora, NY. Hill and Fury are already there.
We put all the information in a usb and deleted everything from the computers at the facility. Now it's a pretty small place with only 7 bedrooms. So we're gonna have to share r- TONY AM I BORING YOU?"
"(Yawning)Yes very fucking much. Thanks for asking."
"Tony that's a bad language word" Natasha said.
"We are not doing this again" said the star spangled man with a plan
"Maybe we wouldn't do this if you'd just stop being such a little b-"
"STOP BEING IMMATURE TONY"
"EVERYONE SHUT UP. YOU'RE BOTH MAKING ME ANGRY." banner shouted
Silence.
"Anyway. We're gonna randomly pick rooms for you all by drawing names out. No complaints are accepted"
Steve put the names into Bucky's cap and started taking names out.
"Okay room 1, Tony and Me"
"Oh great" Tony rolled his eyes
"NO COMPLAINTS"
"Room 2, Clint and...Natasha"
Say goodbye to sleep.
"Room 3, Sam and Peter"
Poor Sam.
"Room 4, Thor and Banner"
Hell breaks loose.
"Room 5, Bucky and....Wanda"
They smirked goofily.
"And Room 6, Vision and Scott"
They'll be just fine.
