Mark was always the popular guy around town and you were just a nerdy teenage girl. You had a huge crush on him but who didn't? He was hilarious and ridiculously attractive! Who wouldn't want him? You two had a few classes together but it wasn't like he noticed you. You were just the nerd in the back of the class. But one day your teacher put your class into groups for a project. And you happened to be the lucky girl to have Mark Lee as their partner but you thought you'd probably have to do all the work. So you walked over to him.
"We can work something out in you don't want to help. You can just present it to the class and I'll do the rest." You said to Mark and he looked at you.
"Why would I do that? It's my project too I should do something" he said and you were taken back a bit.
"Okay where do you wanna meet?" You asked
few weeks later
"Ya know (y/n) I didn't think you'd be so... Interesting to hang out with" Mark told you and you tried not to blush at how close you were.
"Thanks I think" you said and laughed and he smiled then his smile dropping and got serious.
"I'm serious I actually really like you" he says. "You know what I've been liking since last year but I didn't have the guts to tell you." he confessed.
"Like as a friend?" You questioned him. He didn't reply but you noticed him looking at you with a shock face.
"No as more." he says and leans in and gives a peck on your cheeks. "You're really stupid to not understand what I said."
"Won't your friends care? I mean after all I am the school's nerd." You say looking down. He lifts up your chin so you're looking him in the eye
"No. At least even if they do it won't matter. I'd kiss their arse," he laughed "but no really. If they care then they aren't good friends and I don't need them" he finishes.
