Chapter 18

Mackenzie's POV

It was almost 6:00pm which meant it was almost time for our date. I had just finished getting ready. (A/n look up top. Her whole look is up their. The outfit, shoes, makeup, and hair.) I put on my shoes and left my room. I met up with Lauren downstairs. She said Johnny was in his room so I went up to his room and opened the door. 

~Flashback~

Lauren's POV

Kenzie went upstairs getting ready for her date with Johnny. I can't wait. I heard a knock on the door so I went to open it and guess who it was. Nadia Turner. 

"Go away Nadia."

"Is Johnny here?" She stated while barging in.

"Yeah, why?"

"I need to talk to him."

"No." I was too late she already went upstairs.

~Flashback over~

Mackenzie's POV

I regret opening that door. Lauren ran upstairs and saw what I saw. Johnny and Nadia making out. I actaully thought he loved me. I ran away to my room crying. I could hear Lauren yelling at them and then Johnny talking to her. 

"Kenzie? Do you wanna talk?"

I didn't answer.

"I have ice cream."

I opened the door and let me tell you there was no ice cream. Instead there was Johnny. Lauren shoved him in my room and locked the door. 

"Lauren!"

"No. Kenzie, listen to Johnny he has something to tell you."

"Nope. I thought he 'loved me and only me' but I guess not!"

"Kenz please just talk to him."

"Kenz c'mon talk to me."

"I have nothing to say to you."

"Fine then just listen. I was getting ready for our date when all of a sudden Nadia came in my room and started making out with me. I tried to push her off but she wouldn't get off of me. She dug her nails into me and I have marks to prove it. I'm so sorry Kenzie. And I wanted to wait until later to do this, but I'm not sure if we will make it to our date."

"Mackenzie Ziegler, I have known you for my whole life. We have had our ups and downs, mostly ups, well besides now, and when I'm around you I can't help but stare at you and smile knowing that you are my girl. I want you to be my girl for the rest of my life. I know we've only dated for one year but, Mackenzie. (Get's down on one knee and pulls out ring) Will you marry me?"

I started to cry and nod my head.

"Yes a thousand times yes."

He put the ring on my finger, stood up and we hugged and kissed. I really do love this boy. We tried to leave but the door was still locked so I texted Lauren and after about 5 minutes she opened the door. 

"Okay go on your date."

"I don't think we need to anymore." Johnny said smiling while looking at me. 

"Woah woah woah. Did you break up?"

"Nope. We're together forever." I said holding up my left hand showing her the ring.

"Damn John I knew you got her a ring but not this beautiful."

"I got the most beautiful ring for the most beautiful girl."

I giggled at how cheesy he was and kissed him. We went downstairs and saw Carson.

"Thanks for helping me with the date bro, but I already asked her."

"Congrats you two. So what are you gonna do now."

"Why don't you use our date for Lauren."

"What do you mean?"

"Dude. It's no secret you want to ask her to marry you."

"Yeah but she already knows the whole plan."

"No she doesn't I told her the complete opposite of what we planned."

"Really?"

"Yep."

"Well then thanks bro, but why?"

"Because I had a different plan."

I looked at him confused.

"The whole thing with Nadia was planned. We didn't actually kiss either. It was a stage kiss."

"But what about her comment on my post?"

"Planned that too."

"Aww babe."

"Well, go get ready bro."

"Okay."

"Lauren!" I screamed. I can't wait for this date.
