Chapter 15

Mackenzie's POV

I decided to wear a black and white striped tank crop top with jean booty shorts that are frayed at the bottom. I paired it with a pair of white and black addidas sneackers and a jean jacket that say California on the back. Johnny was wearing a plain black T-shirt with Jeans that had rips in them and were cuffed aat the bottom. He also wore them with white high top Jordan's.

"Hey babe."

"Hi."

"What do you want for breakfast."

"Starbucks?!"

"Sure, wanna go see what Larson want's?"

"Sure."

I pranced over to Carson's room. I peered through the door and found Carson awake but Lauren asleep on his chest.

"Hey Carson." I whispered trying to not wake up Lauren.

"Hey."

"Johnny and I are going to Starbucks. Do You want anything?"

"Sure. A plain bagel, toasted, with cream cheese and a Nitro Cold Brew."

"Okay."

"I'm not sure what Lauren wants."

"I know her order. We go to Starbucks all the time."

"Oh Okay."

"We'll be back."

"Bye."

I walked out of Carson's room and shut the door quietly.

"You got it?"

"Yep. Lauren was still asleep but I know what she likes."

"Okay. Ready?"

"Yep."

We walked over to his truck and hopped in. He drove to Starbucks and we bought all of our food. We were waiting for our food when I looked to m left and saw my mom.

"Shit."

"What's wrong babe?"

"Look over there." I pointed at my mom.

"Damn it."

"Kenzie!"

Shit, shit, shit. She saw me."

"Hi mom."

She walked over to me.

"Why are you here?"

"Just getting brakfast."

"Johnny!"

I looked to my left and saw his mom coming through the door.

"Hi mom."

"Why are you with her."

"Why are you with him." They said at the same time.

"B-b-because we are..."

"Dating." Johnny finished off my sentence for me.

"Oh no no no. Did you forget about the rules?"

"No mother."

"Oh so you two are breaking the riles. I told you her was a bad influence Kenzie."

"He's not a bad influence mother. I chose to do this and I don't regret it, I love him."

"Well that's nice sweetheart, but Johnny can't hangout with you because he's a good boy. Right Johnny?"

"No mother. I love Kenzie and if you have a problem with that then you can stay out of my life. I'm not letting some stupid fued get in the way of me being with the most amazing girl in the world."

"Exactly. And mom, if you even think I'm moving back in with ypu I'm not because I love living with Johnny."

They started to break down laughing. Johnny and I looked at eachother in confusion. We grabbed our food and waited for them to calm down.

"Okay Mel, I think we should tell them."

"Tell us what mom?"

"Well you see..." They explained everything to us, like about the house and letters. 

"So you've been keeping this a secret from us for 10 years?!"

"Yep. It took you a really ong time to break the rules."

"Wow. I probably should be mad but I'm not."

"Same."

"Well we better bring this food to Lauren and Carson."

"Wait mom, are you okay with Lauren dating Carson?"

"Oh of course. I never had anything against him it was all part of our plan."

"Oh okay great."

"Well, bye."

"Bye."

We went back to his truck and went home. When we got there Larson was don in the kitchen talking. 

"Hey guys."

"Hey."

"It took you long enough. I'm hungry."

I handed everyone their food.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome."

"Why were y'all so late."

"Well we ran into Kenzie's mom and our mom."

"Oh no."

"But it's okay."

"Did they see you?"

"Yes, but they told us something very shocking."

"Well, what is it?"

We explained to them what happened and they weren't mad either. I think mostly because we wouldn't have come together if it weren't for our parents. Who knew our parents would actually help us fall in love.
