THAT ONE NOVEMBER MORNING
There's something about the coldness
That one November morning
As I walked through the rocky ground
And my eyes met yours.Your eyes smiled with your lips
As you greet me "Good morning"
It was just two empty words
But it felt special coming from youI know there'll never be a chance
But give me this moment
To take a glance
And start my day right.I'll remember this one November morning
When your smile conquered the coldness
In my heart that's been there ever since.
I'll remember the warmth,
The greeting,
The heart beating,
That beautiful November morning.I never thought I'd feel this way
Though I only met you in a day
No, just a minute that day
But you're all over my head. And it's just so funny
That I can't tuck this feeling away
Knowing I won't even stay
For a long time in that place so lovely.I know there'll never be a chance
But give me this moment
To take a glance
And start my day right.I'll remember this one November morning
When your smile conquered the coldness
In my heart that's been there ever since.
I'll remember the warmth,
The greeting,
The heart beating,
That beautiful November morning.I'll remember everything...
Even the way you looked away
As you passed me by that same day...
I'll remember that one November morning,
The first and last greeting,
The sudden heart beating,
Me realizing...
I'm leaving someone I never thought I'd be loving...
Before that one November morning...
