              " Isabella Reddignton " the principal called out on the podium. There were loud cheers as I walked up to the poduim to collect my result and give the valedictorian speech.

        " That's my girlfriend!!!!! " I could hear Jake scream from the crowd.

I shook hands with the principal before mounting on the podium to speak.I still couldn't believe that I was the best graduating student in our school.

As I stood on the podium, memories of all that happened the last year filled my head. It had really been a trying year for me and to stand here as the best graduating student with the best result was just so unreal. I looked at the smiling faces in the crowd, people I had spent my amazing high school year with, my boyfriend, best friend, Tyler, Quinn and all our parents this was a feeling that I could never comprehend.

   " ................ In all we were able to overcome our trials and that is what makes us the best, it is what identifies us as the Lions and Lionesses that we are.So no matter what part of the world we find ourself we will be sure to leave an indelible mark there because that is who we are,Great Palmdale the unbeatable! " I said concluding my speech.

The thunderous clap and cheer that followed was so surreal, I smiled as I walked down shaking everyone as our principal moved back to the podium

    " And now I present to you,the class of 2019 !!" he said

The cheers as we removed our caps and threw them in the air while hugging each other was just too beautiful. We all moved outside to take pictures with our different families,friends and well wishers.Genuinely happy with all that we had achieved.

   
             " Say cheese " Quinn's mum said as she held up the camera

       " Cheese!!!" Jake, Quinn and I yelled as we took pictures for the 200th time that day.For real it's been over 200 times

Quinn had come with Quinn's parents to support Jake and i. My friendship with Quinn had blossomed, he was also cancer free.Once again he had kicked cancer's butt and he looked genuinely happy

              " Bella, come take a -Ouch!! " mum clutched her belly as she dropped the camera

Dad was the first to rush to her " Are you alright? Do you need to go to the hospital, do you need anything ?? " Dad asked looking concerned

          " Calm down Ted, am only pregnant not invalid " mum teased as she rubbed her bump.

    
     Like I said a lot can happen in a year, just towards the end of January mum got super sick and was admitted in the hospital, I had never been so scared in my life. Anyways when the results came out, it turned out that she was pregnant. Mum and dad couldn't believe it and they asked for more tests to be carried out and it still came out positive , there really was a baby growing inside her. They still couldn't believe that after 18 years since my birth mum could still take in, the doctors obviously had their concerns because of mum's age and the babies. Yes!! Mum wasn't carrying one baby but two babies !!!I am going to be a big sister to two cuties in less than four months.

  While Quinn and Jake's parents were making pregnancy jokes with my parents Jake and i hurriedly sneaked out. We haven't had any time to ourselves the whole day!! It's been a really busy one
