Biography: Kyoko was the first mysterious character ever made in the series- and now due to how long the series has gone on for she isn't so mysterious anymore especially since she's now got her own story to give more insight into her backstory.
As an Ultimate Detective she has learned to remain impartial and just focus on finding out the truth of a case and is rather undisturbed by finding dead bodies (and when she is she hides it) and has learned to construct an almost impenetrable mask to hide her emotions.
The majority of Kyoko's family were detectives except her father (who was shunned due to his ambition to teach rather then solve). her grandfather after finding out about Kyoko's existence contacted her father in hopes of making Kyoko the heir in their line of detective work. At some point afterwards Kyoko's father reluctantly left Kyoko in the hands of her grandfather to complete his dream of building a high school for the talented and Kyoko was trained (rather strictly) to become a detective. When Kyoko was seven years old her mother became ill why she was away at work with her grandfather and her grandfather refused to let her say goodbye to her mother before she passed away, after the death of her mother her grandfather used it as an excuse to manipulate Kyoko into hating her father.
Due to the way she was raised Kyoko has difficulty in expressing her emotions and feelings and has lots of unresolved emotional issues that she seems to be running away from.
At some point (most likely to be revealed in the novel series 'Kirigiri') she let her emotions get the better of her and something bad (and most likely traumatizing) happened that scarred her hands and left a severe emotional scar on her. Due to this event she has severe trust issues with those around her.
Aspect: Now I think you and I both know that she is either a Mind player or a Light player so.. Let's take a look at those descriptions~
Those bound to the aspect of Light are the universe's knowledge-seekers. They are, above all, driven to learn and understand. They are great alchemists, able to take multiple sources of information and synthesize them into something useful. They are scholars and researchers, absolutely dedicated to knowledge for knowledge's sake. They are the ultimate students, and although that might conjure up the image of people sitting around peacefully waiting for knowledge to be brought to them, that couldn't be further from the truth. The Light-bound will go after knowledge with a fierce intensity that others may find distasteful. They aren't overly concerned with laws or norms, either. They often take rules as simple suggestions, instead searching for loopholes or work-arounds. At their best, the Light-bound are resourceful and driven. At their worst they can be fussy, pedantic, and insensitive.
Those bound to the aspect of Mind are-you guessed it-the universe's great thinkers. But don't for a second think that means that they have all the answers. They are very concerned with remaining rational, and they have such a firm hold on the constant conjunction of their thinking that it's easy for them to see the multitudes of the choices laid out before them, which often leaves them frozen and unable to act. That said, when a Mind-bound finally launches into action, they can execute a plan with unbelievable grace and precision. Their identity is fluid-it can change from day-to-day, from thought-to-thought, from interaction-to-interaction. Remaining logical is more important to them than building up a solid foundation of "self." At their best they are great innovators, architects, and creators. At their worst they can be nasty, inflexible, and indecisive.

Now both fit quite a bit but I personally think Light suits her more. Because she does seem to have a stable self- both personality wise, goal wise, action wise, belief wise, and the way she thinks of herself also remains stable. And she has rarely found herself unable to act- she has always made a choice and acted. But there are definitely some things she has in common with the mind aspect.
But Light is clearly her aspect here. Throughout the game her whole entire goal was knowledge related. Did she want to stop the killing game? Damn right she did. But it wasn't the most important thing to her. Figuring out everything she could about monokuma, the mastermind, and their situation was the most important to her. She knew that the only way to end the game was to get all the answers and she did not rest till she got those answers. And she constantly was able to point out loopholes in the rules that monokuma purposely left and that killers used to commit their crime, she also didn't seem to care much about social norms- proven in her introduction where unlike everyone else she merely stated her name and pushed Makoto away instead of telling more about herself.
Class: Now as always my reference for the classes is based off of HomestuckExamination's description of each class. And unsurprisingly Kyoko is a Knight. Before I started this analysis I had a theory that she was a Knight and I'm glad to see it proven.
"Those born with the Role of the Knight are devoted and reliable. Or at least, they want to appear reliable to those they care about." Kyoko is very reliable and throughout the killing game she definitely makes herself more noticeable as a reliable person, because she knew that in order for the group to feel somewhat safe they had to feel like there was someone they could rely on around and for them that was Kyoko (and Makoto). "Insecurities, fears, doubts, they don't tend to share them, even with their most trusted and loved partners, unless they're being pressed or in dire need to vent. Rather, Knights have a tendency to mask their true feelings in order to showcase themselves in a specific manner." This is a huge piece of Kyoko's character; the fact that she constantly buries and hides her emotions and fears. She rarely told Makoto how she truly felt about a situation or about anything that could be used against her- the only time she did so was at the end of her freetime events and nearing the end of the game. For the free time events she felt pressed to tell Makoto that so that he didn't hurt her and so that she didn't hurt him in return, and for the end of the game it was probably a mix between needing to vent and feeling pressed to vent.
"They cannot be Lone Heroes, and can only shine with the support of others, and specially, by supporting others." This is another key thing to her character, even in a book series about her she is not the main protagonist and is a supporting character. She is most effective when she is supporting others and leading them to the truth and helping them.. Well.. not die. Even though she acts like a lone wolf and probably was in the events in between the Kirigiri books and the Danganronpa series she is clearly a huge support for and to others.
Now many people will probably try and argue that she is a Seer, and I can also see that. But I personally find she shares more traits with the Knight class then the Seer class. But she most definitely has some Seer tendencies. But my personal opinion is that she is a Knight.

Summary: I have theorized and feel as though Kyoko is a Knight of Light.
