Biography:
Not much is known about Kokichi's backstory since he nearly refused to talk about his life before becoming an ultimate and almost constantly lied about his life as an ultimate. The only thing we do know is that he used to love video games (probably still does), has played video games his whole life and that supposedly nobody would care if he was gone. Now supposedly it's been implied that he has no family or parents but I beg to differ. I've personally seen lots of implications of abuse. To back up on some evidence of that we'll have to look into his personality but one of the biggest things for me is his compulsive lying.
Now many people think he chooses to lie and he most definitely does on some aspects, but some of his lies almost seem like he felt some sort of need to lie for no particular reason. And even though school mode is not canon there can definitely be things in there that put insight into his character and could be potentially be canon. In his true hearts thing (I can't remember the name please don't judge me) we can see that he straight up considers stopping lying for Shuichi. I personally believe he's had those thoughts before- but not because he loves Shuichi, just because he feels guilty. And I yet again, believe he feels guilty because his lying is clearly a defense mechanism he made to not only hide his feelings but protect himself and his identity. Now you could argue this developed while he lived on the streets with D.I.C.E. and there is no doubt in my mind that being in the streets and committing humourous crimes with D.I.C.E. had to do with it but I believe it started before that. Environments where you have to lie to be safe or have to lie to survive can make you develop compulsive lying problems and abuse can be one of those environments.
The fact that he can change his facial expression and body language in the snap of a finger is something very few people can do and most people see no point in doing so. So why would Kokichi? Obviously for his compulsive lying reasons but what if there's more to it then that? What if he had to hide his emotions in order to survive and be safe? Now yet again this can be caused by his lifestyle with D.I.C.E. but I personally think he'd be more open with them since he thought of them as family. Which furthermore tells me that this ability was crafted before D.I.C.E..
His childlike excitement as well, most people will probably think it's just part of his lying and scheming personality but I personally think it yet again, has to do with his past. If he didn't have a childhood that people should have had then he's going to not experience childlike wonder and excitement, which may very well mean when he's older things that most people don't look twice at he'll look at with shock and excitement- this could include people too.
Another huge thing for me is the fact that he claims to hate liars. Now obviously this could be a lie but as someone with compulsive lying tendencies and hates lying I think not. I got my compulsive lying tendencies (which I thankfully overcame) from the fact that my family constantly lied about anything and everything, my mom and dad are both pathological liars, my sister is a compulsive liar, and so many more of my family members are pathological or compulsive liars. What I was trying to get at there is Kokichi very well could've had an abusive family with pathological and compulsive lying problems so his compulsive lying could be something he secretly hates about himself- and even if it's not it could explain why he gets so annoyed when the other characters lie and why he supposedly hates lying. He also seems to hate hypocrisy- which is a normal thing but normally people merely dislike it, I find that abuse victims are the ones who straight up hate it.
He is super analytical to the point where he repeatedly predicts events that will happen in the game, now you could argue 'hey psychic abilities' or 'living out on the streets' and yet again, the streets obviously had a play in it but given the above information I believe he developed his analytical abilities and perceptiveness from an environment where he had to be just that perceptive to survive and the above evidence just furthermore makes me think this was from living with a family who could and would hurt you.
But the biggest piece of evidence to me is the fact that he gets notably scared when someone threatens to hurt him and will book it to either Gonta or just away from the person who threatened him. It's normal to get nervous when you're threatened but to run away in fear? That to me implies something completely different then living in the streets. That is very clearly a sign that he was abused as a child. Not to mention he has severe trust issues which can also stem from abuse (and a lot of other things but in this case chances are it stemmed from abuse).
I think I should probably stop with the reasons why I think he was abused because this...well this is really fucking long and you all probably understand why I think that now.
Now to those of you who do not know what this D.I.C.E. I keep talking about in the analysis on whether he was abused or not that I got sidetracked with is, well lucky for you I'm going to explain that to you know (even if it is pretty late), Now at some point in his mysterious past he joined or founded a group called D.I.C.E. and became the leader of it, the group is a small band of pranksters who travel the world commit "laughable crimes" for fun.

Aspect: FINALLY ONTO THE ASPECT!! I am so fucking sorry for me going all fucking out on the biography on why I think he was abused- But hey, now that we're finally onto aspect!! Let's get started! Ironically I think the aspects he could be are the literal polar opposites of each other; Light and Void. So let's do some good ol copying and pastin and see what he is~

Those bound to the aspect of Light are the universe's knowledge-seekers. They are, above all, driven to learn and understand. They are great alchemists, able to take multiple sources of information and synthesize them into something useful. They are scholars and researchers, absolutely dedicated to knowledge for knowledge's sake. They are the ultimate students, and although that might conjure up the image of people sitting around peacefully waiting for knowledge to be brought to them, that couldn't be further from the truth. The Light-bound will go after knowledge with a fierce intensity that others may find distasteful. They aren't overly concerned with laws or norms, either. They often take rules as simple suggestions, instead searching for loopholes or work-arounds. At their best, the Light-bound are resourceful and driven. At their worst they can be fussy, pedantic, and insensitive.
Those bound to the aspect of Void are the universe's secret-keepers. The unknown doesn't scare them-where others might see emptiness, they see potential. A blank page, an empty canvas, that's what the Void-bound live for. They value mystery and the unexplained, and are not particularly bothered by not having all the answers. Where others might be compelled to go out and seek answers, the Void-bound lean more toward casting doubt on what is already considered fully understood. They don't take much on faith and would rather live in a state of confusion than believe something that might be untrue or bow to intellectual authority. After all, in order for something new to be built, the old, rotting foundation must often be razed. At their best, Void-bound are wise, intuitive, and vibrant. At their worst they can be dismissive, indecisive, and apathetic.
As I theorized, he is very clearly a void player.
"Those bound to the aspect of Void are the universe's secret-keepers", I don't think I need to explain why I think this suits him. His whole entire character relates to secrets, his whole entire character is a fucking mystery and he does so many things in secret. He constantly casts doubt on what everyone knows from the beginning of the game to his death- and even beyond his death. That and he's literally the biggest rebel I've ever seen?? Like?? He constantly did these little things that the mastermind never caught that all had to do with his plan to stop the killing (the rock thing for example) sadly his plan failed but literally he was such a little rebel and refused to bow down to monokuma/the mastermind.

Class:
So naturally I had zero fucking idea what Kokichi's class was. As mentioned before for analyzing classes I use HomestuckExamination's class theories, so naturally I read through all of these and.. I was surprised by the classpect that I found fit Kokichi most; And that class is the Seer. But it does make sense that his class would have to do with knowledge since that is a huge part of his identity.
"Those born with the Role of the Seer are seekers of knowledge. They have an innate awareness of their surroundings and a knack for learning, recalling and analysing their interests, no matter how difficult or dense they may be. As such, a Seer's inner world may be as confusing and complicated as their interests, making it sometimes hard to get to know them properly." Now we all know that Kokichi is one of the most complicated characters in the danganronpa series- if not the most, and no one in the dr games really got "to know him properly" because they found him so confusing, and as stated before he is insanely perceptive and aware of his surroundings to the point of predicting events. "On top of that, they tend to struggle with grey areas, dividing in their mind what's right and wrong." Kokichi most definitely struggles with black and white thinking, he can and has been able to place things and people into grey areas in his mind but he tends to mostly categorize in black and white. For example; Murder is bad, Assassin = killer, Maki = Assassin, Maki = bad, is one of the most notable cases of his black and white thinking. He didn't think Kaede was bad for killing because she had meant to kill the mastermind who was forcing them to kill but that is probably the only case I can think of where he was able to categorize someone in a grey area.
"Seers don't need to be specially comfortable with their Aspect, rather, their Aspect determines what kind of insight and information comes more naturally to them, or what they have an easier time understanding." Well lucky for Kokichi he's comfortable with his aspect and definitely understands it. It's been established he can easily identify when someone else lies and definitely understands the art of secrets, mystery and pure and utter fucking chaos.
So I think it's safe to say he is a Seer.

Short answer: In conclusion I have come to the conclusion that Kokichi is a Seer of Void.
