Biography: So for this analysis, right off the bat we're going to have to look at both his act u a l godtier and his inverse (Izuru would be his inverse). But we'll get to that later since right now we're going to be looking at his history.
Ever since Hajime was a kid it was his dream to attend hopes peak. The reason behind this was he was (and still is) insecure, and wants to be something people can look up to, admire and be proud of. He viewed being talentless as a boring lifestyle- and more importantly the wrong lifestyle for him.
As a teen his parents managed to get enough money to enroll him into Hopes Peak, but he wouldn't be studying alongside his talented school mates, he'd be in the reserve course for the talentless. And sure enough he still didn't feel good enough. What didn't help matters was he was looked down upon by his fellow classmates, since they viewed his belief and dreams as impossible, causing him to not have a lot of friends. The only friend he managed to make was with Chiaki Nanami, the ultimate gamer.
His ambition to have a talent and be admired was so strong it eventually led him to take place in an experiment called the Izuru Kamakura Project; an experiment to turn the talentless into ultimates. The experiment was top secret so when he agreed to it he was marked as expelled, when in reality he was still here, but he was slowly being turned into a completely different person.
His entire past self was essentially erased from his mind, due to hopes peak believing it would interfere with the experiment, and he became Izuru Kamakura, named after the academy's founder. His ultimate was talent itself and he was named as the ultimate hope.

Aspect:
As stated before we have multiple things to look at. Now without doubt I know Izuru would be a void player (I'll provide evidence later on) but... if that is true, this would mean that Hajime is a Light player. So why don't we take a look at that possibility first?
"Those bound to the aspect of Light are the universe's knowledge-seekers. They are, above all, driven to learn and understand. They are great alchemists, able to take multiple sources of information and synthesize them into something useful. They are scholars and researchers, absolutely dedicated to knowledge for knowledge's sake. They are the ultimate students, and although that might conjure up the image of people sitting around peacefully waiting for knowledge to be brought to them, that couldn't be further from the truth. The Light-bound will go after knowledge with a fierce intensity that others may find distasteful. They aren't overly concerned with laws or norms, either. They often take rules as simple suggestions, instead searching for loopholes or work-arounds. At their best, the Light-bound are resourceful and driven. At their worst they can be fussy, pedantic, and insensitive."
Now.. I had hopes that he would fit this just to make life easier you know? But he doesn't really. Now of course since he's the main protagonist of the story his job is to search for answers to the killing game, but the truth is, he wasn't doing that out of wanting the answers. He was doing that to end the killing game and keep himself and his friends alive. If he was a light player he'd have shown this traits before the killing game, which he didn't. But this means my first statement 'without a doubt Izuru is a void player' is entirely incorrect. Cause Izuru is Hajime's inverse, and void is the inverse of light. In other words, because Hajime is not Light Izuru is not Void.
And now people will probably start to speak up and say 'Izuru is a different person from Izuru'. Technically yes. But Izuru was also always inside Hajime. Because once Hajime's interests, memories and everything that made Hajime Hajime was stripped down, there lied Izuru. And at the end of the series Hajime makes peace with Izuru and becomes one with him instead of thinking of him as someone entirely different.
Now onto my next theory for Hajime; "Those bound to the aspect of Time are fighters, full stop. Their lives are often marked by struggle, not so much because fate has it in for them, but because they are fundamentally incapable of just accepting things as they come. They value action over passive acceptance, even if that may not be the wisest or safest choice. Don't try to tell a Time-bound to sit still and look pretty. They are very goal-focused, and tend to value the destination over the journey, and you won't find them making that journey in any traditional sort of way. To quote cheesy posters found on many a guidance counselor's wall-"impossible is just a word". If you need a miracle, they are who you call. At their best, the Time-bound are empathetic and relentless problem-solvers. At their worst they are ruthless, defensive, and impulsive."
Now this occurred to me as I was reading through the light player blurb. Hajime was all about going after what he wanted no matter how 'improbable' it was. He was willing to even destroy who he was to achieve his own dream (although one could argue he didn't know the consequences which is possible). Meanwhile Izuru is all about waiting for puzzle pieces to click into place so he can play his part. Which is exactly what Space is. I mistook Izuru as void when chances are he's actually a Space player with Void tendencies.
"Those bound to the aspect of Space are, as the name suggests, concerned with the big picture. They are patient, masters of the art of 'wait-and-see', and are inclined to take things as they come. That isn't to say that they're pushovers or willing to let injustice lie-they just choose their battles wisely, understanding that sometimes you have to let something burn to the ground in order to build it back better and stronger than before. To this effect, they tend to be innovators, concerned with creation and redemption. Catch them recycling the old to make the new, the fresh, and the beautiful. For the Space-bound, the journey is as, if not more, important than the destination; how they do something is as important as what they do. At their best, they are steady, impartial, and creative. At their worst, they can be detached, apathetic, and vague."
And bingo. Now I haven't s e e n the anime for dr yet, so I don't know what Junko said to convince Izuru to work with her, but if I remember correctly she told him it'd make the world more "exciting" and appealed to his constant state of dissatisfaction. So he was convinced to work with her by renewal, changing the world to make it more exciting. And there's many theories as to why Izuru betrayed Junko in the end, but the truth is none of us can know. But one thing is for sure, his entire character revolves around patience and rebirth.

Class:
So that took the record for the longest fucking aspect analysis I've done- but now we can finally try and figure out Hajime and Izuru's class. And it's pretty clear to me that Hajime is a Mage. He has suffered from his aspect- not in the literal sense, but his ambition caused a lot of suffering in his life, that and we've all seen how he smart and intuitive he is.
"As such, they will use the insight they know is there to lead others and change fate in ways that suit them." This sums up his character in a nutshell. People looked up to him cause of how insightful he was and his determination to end the killing game and keep everyone alive. He gave them hope.
"They have an idealized view of how the world around them should work, and will strive to make their Reality pleasant and bearable for themselves, even when it may not be the best path for others." Sound familiar? This is exactly what led to him becoming Izuru and getting into hopes peak in the first place.
Now this'd mean Izuru is an heir since that's the inverse of a Mage. Which would once again, make a lot of sense and my opinion would explain some of his void tendencies.
"Those born with the Role of the Heir are bound to malleability."
Izuru doesn't exactly care for change but everything around him is prone to changing when he's around and he gets excited by new things- which is a form of change.
"Heirs are at risk of losing themselves to their Aspect if they allow it to influence and change them enough." Which I think once again explains his void tendencies. He's let himself be so influenced by space- by waiting for something to change- that he's ended up in an almost empty state of being. Cause all he can really do is wait for something to change and entertain him, and after awhile he stopped caring about that too.

Short answer: Hajime is a Mage of Time and Izuru is an Heir of Space
