Chapter 17: Present

Yoojung's POV

I just came home from training when Tae Oppa called my attention.

"Yoodaeng! Will you come into our room? I'll show you something" He said casually.

"Can't you just show it to me here?" I was at the living room resting at the couch and I'm too lazy to get up.

"Nope, come on now. It's important" He demanded.

I had no choice but to follow his orders. At least I can play with Tanie.

I entered their room. Most of them went back to their hometowns since they were still in a break after their concert tour. Only Tae oppa and Jin oppa were back.

"Tae oppa, You're still on a break for 2 more days right? Why are you here now?" I asked Tae oppa

"My parents and siblings went on an international tour that started today. They will be visiting some of our relatives. I can't go with them because they will be staying there for 3 weeks, and our break ends in 2 days." He said. I can see that he was a bit disappointed.

"Anyway, this is why I asked you to come here" He said while rummaging through his closet.

He pulled out a medium sized box with a Gucci logo in it. He opened the box and showed me a white sweatshirt.

"What do you think?" He asked

"Well, it's cute and I bet it was very expensive" I said.

I do have some Gucci stuff and I know that it is an expensive brand.

"It's for Jimin, you think he'll like it?" He asked.

"You've been with Jimin oppa longer, you should know what he likes." I said.

"Well it's his birthday on Friday, and I just wanted to get your opinion for my gift to him" He explained.

Wait? It's Jimin oppa's birthday on FRIDAY?! THAT'S IN 3 DAYS.

"It's his birthday on Friday?!!! No one told me. I don't think I'll have time to buy a gift" I said.

"Knowing Jimin, he'll like anything from you." Tae oppa said with a weird smile

Why is he smiling like that? It seems like his implying something.

"Waah I hope I have time to go to the mall tomorrow!!" I said in frustration.

My trainings have been intensive recently. I will soon prepare for my solo debut so I am really working hard to polish my skills. I don't think I'll be able to find time to go shopping for a gift to Jimin oppa.

Also, what do you give a guy who can buy anything that he wants? Ahhh this is frustrating. Jimin oppa has  been very kind to me since day 1 of my stay in here. We've gotten very close specially during the world tour. He has also given me a cute necklace for no particular event. I really want to give him something for his birthday.

After some time of thinking, I finally came up with an idea. I hope I'll be able to finish it in 2 days.

Taehyung's POV

Jimin and I has been friends since predebut days. He is a very kind and caring person. He has been with me during the ups and downs of my life. You can say that I know him too well.

Since the moment Yoojung came into this dorm, Jimin has always been looking after her. At first I thought it was just his kind nature. But after seeing how his mood lights up whenever he talks about Yoojung, I knew that it was more than that. Whenever Yoojung smiles, he also smiles. He would always find a way to connect Yoojung with things that we talk about.

I know him too well, that he does not even have to tell me how he feels.

Since his birthday was coming. I wanted to give him the best present. You'd think it was the sweatshirt. But no your wrong. My real gift is telling Yoojung that it was his birthday.

What will that girl give him? I'm curious. She could give him a bottle of water and that would make him happy... Aissssh it's so nice to fall in love. When will my time come?

Yoojung's POV

Today is Jimin Oppa's birthday, everyone is already back at the dorm except for him. We prepared for his birthday surprise.

I feel a bit nervous about my gift. I hope he likes it. It was rushed and not very polished but I put a lot of effort in doing it.

We asked for the cooperation of Jimin oppa's body guards for the surprise. We made them call us once they are at the lobby.

We turned off all the lights and when he entered the dorm we sang happy birthday for him.

"Thank you everyone!" He said with a huge smile that made his eyes very small.

We ate the food that we've prepared, and played some games. We decided not to drink alcohol because all of us have an early training tomorrow.

After the celebration, everyone cleaned up and headed to their rooms. I still haven't given him my gift so I stopped him from going to his room.

"Jimin oppa! Wait! I want to give you something." I said and ran as fast as I can to my room to get my gift.

He waited for me at the living room. All of the other members were there too. I bet they want to see my gift hehehe.

"Jimin oppa, Happy Birthday!" I said and handed him my gift. Everyone gathered around him. I can see the others were curious too.

He opened it and smiled.

"Wow!! It's beautiful!! He said.

" Daebak! " I heard Tae Oppa said.

" Where did you get it? It was Jungkook oppa who asked.

"I painted it." I said I said with a smile.

I painted a group picture of us taken during theie concert tour. I made the backgroud look like the galaxy just to put a twist on it.

"Wow! Thank you so much Yoojung! It's beautiful. Ahh i'll hang it in our room!" His happiness was radiating.

Seeing him like that made the 2 nights of hardwork and no sleep worth it.
