Caught (Part 2)

Walking out of your bedroom quietly, your stomach twisted and flipped with nerves. Your sister had found out what was going on straight after Calum's scene and had immediately caused a distraction for your parents, getting the three of them out of the house. Calum allowed you to get into proper clothes before you came downstairs to 'talk' with him and Ashton. You were scared as shit and so you wanted to stall so you decided to have a shower - washing your hair -, shave your legs, pluck your eyebrows and paint your fingernails and toes. You knew you were being a bit extreme but you knew your brother and how angry he'd be and you really, really wanted to avoid that conversation with him.

You wondered what Calum and Ashton talked about during your period during the bathroom as you walked down the stairs and into the living room. What if you walked through the living room to find Ashton dead? Okay, now you were being crazy. You stepped into the living room to find - thankfully - no dead bodies but Ashton who was sitting on the sofa and Calum who was standing up, staring at the ground with a crease in his brow. Swallowing harshly, you walked over to the two of them and sat down on the sofa next to Ashton. Calum's eyes flicked up as he scowled at you.

"No. You," he pointed at you, "move away. Now." He said icily and you raised an eyebrow, confused. You were scared but at the same time, this was Calum your twin brother, he didn't control you or your actions or whatever you wanted to do.

"What, why?" You asked, not moving. Your knee bumped with Ashton's but you tried not to think of the contact and its effect on you. Calum glared at you.

"I don't want him anywhere near you," Calum said and you gave him an incredulous look before rolling your eyes.

"Are you kidding me?" You asked him. His expression said otherwise. "It's not like Ashton's going to rip off my clothes right here and now and just take me," you said bitterly, feeling a bit better as you watched Calum flinch with each word that came out of your mouth. From the corner of your eye you saw Ashton look at you for a split second and you knew he was trying not to smirk.

"Why did you hide this from me?" Calum said, gesturing to you and Ashton and you laughed once, not hiding the sarcastic tone that came with it.

"Because I knew this would be your reaction," you said, mocking his gesture. "Anyways, why are you so angry? If anything, you'll be seeing Ashton more often," you said and Calum deadpanned.

"Yeah, but he'll be with you...doing...you know...stuff," Calum replied and this time your laugh was genuine.

"Stuff?" Ashton repeated, holding an amused expression. Calum looked over at him.

"Shut up," Calum retorted. You sighed.

"Look, Calum, usually I would just go and do the exact opposite of everything you say because that's how we work. But this time, I'm not just doing it because you don't want me to. I really, really like Ashton and we've been together for a few months now and if he was anyone else I would've just gone about my business with him and not give a flying shit about what you thought of it but he's one of your best friends and I'm your sister and I really want you to be okay with this," you looked up at Calum, pulling puppy dog eyes. He stared at you for a long moment, looking back from you and Ashton. His eyes rested on Ashton.

"What about you, what do you have to say for yourself?" Calum asked and from his tone of voice you already knew he had softened up. It felt as if the weight of the world had just left your shoulders.

"You know I didn't want to make you angry, Calum, it's just that, well like Y/N said about me, I really, really like her. We want to stay together but it would be a million times better knowing that you're okay with it," Ashton said and you gave a small smile.

Calum looked at the two of you again for a long moment before sighing, his shoulders slumping in defeat. "Okay, fine. You guys go ahead and do whatever you need to do," he said, giving a small smile when you jumped up and clapped on the spot, a grin spreading across your face. "But I swear to God," he turned back to Ashton, "if I walk into another scene like the one this morning I will actually chop your dick into teeny, tiny pieces," Calum threatened and you rolled, your eyes, smiling and taking Ashton's hand and pulling him up.

"Then knock next time," you retorted, pulling Ashton along upstairs and into your room. He closed the door behind him and immediately you pounced and he caught you with ease, his hands holding you by your thighs as your legs wrapped around his waist and your arms wrapped around his neck.

"That went well," Ashton grinned at you, leaning forward slightly and pressing his lips to yours.
