Gavin turned off the TV, grabbed his coffee and left the breaking room to go back to his desk. He sipped on his coffee while making himself comfortable on his chair by putting his legs on the desk and leaning back into his chair. He brought out his smartphone just to check some apps, before he was going to start his work.

After the revolution the police received almost every week reports about people who attacked friends, family or other humans, because the thought, that they might be an android, which replaced the real person or something like that. Even after a whole year, there are people who are traumatized. Gavin understood the fear of the people, but he avoided contact with other people before and after the revolution, so for him, it's no big deal. He began to stare to his desktop lost in his thoughts. Why do people want to have an android after all, especially after they saw what could happen. They must be fucking retarded, he thought.

He opened a new case file, which just arrived a minute ago. I hope that this case will be more entertaining than the last one. He scanned the data file.

Mr. Ander said that she started to act strange, after they got an android to take care of the children and of the household. The woman was last seen in a Dinner at Tuesday the 25th October 2039 at 22:37."

"Another missing person", Gavin whispered and felt full of energy all of a sudden. After the last cases this sound kind of fun. "I wonder if this is somehow connected to the other missing persons. But not all of them had an android or had contact to one. But I bet, that there is an android or a group of androids involved in it. If I count these persons to the others, that makes already 8 people who disappeared within just 3 weeks. First of all I have to collect the information about the family and the –".

"Reed!"

Gavin got interrupted in his monologue. He looked up just to see that Fowler stared angry in his direction. Gavin looked at the time: 10:03. Fuck, he had a meeting with this prick at 10 o'clock and now he's pissed. He rolled his eyes while he stood up, throwing his cup in the bin can and walk to Fowler's office.

"Sit down", Fowler command him, but Gavin refused, as he always did, knowing, that the police station has a problem to find good workers. Instead, he crossed his arms and looked very annoyed in Fowler's direction.

"For fuck's sake, I just wanted to start the new case, I received. Keep it short!"

"Mind your language, Mr. Reed! I'm your supervisor, so shut you got damn mouth for a while and listen what I have to say", he yelled and pointed to the chair to sign him, that he should take a seat.
