It was a cold morning for a day in October. It was still dark when Gavin arrived at the Capitol Park. He stood in front of edifice named "The Building", freezing, his arms crossed, trying to warm himself a little bit. Maybe he should have worn more than his usual blue sweater and his brown jacket. Actually, he wasn't that kind of person who freeze easily, but it seems that today was one of the coldest days, or maybe it just felt like this, because he usually wouldn't walk around outside at that time. Due to the cold and an icy wind that made him shiver, he almost regretted that he didn't allowed the android to drive in the same taxi as him. When they left the apartment building, a taxi was already waiting for them, as the machine calculated. Gavin refused to let the android in the taxi and had pointed out that he could take another one, since he didn't want to endure the plastic prick any longer than necessary. But he hadn't considered that it was the android who had seen Mrs. Ander at "The Building" and that he only knew where he had seen her. Now he stood in front of the building, undecided what he should do. He seemed to have no choice but to wait for that fucking android.

Gavin observed the area. No human being was at the Capitol Park. Why should they, it was almost 6 o'clock. Only some androids were other the place, doing their work. Gavin took a closer look. Some GJ600 model androids were standing in front of a Cyberlife store. Due to the events of last year, when several stores had stormed and emptied by androids, there were now additional security androids, besides of the drones, who immediately passed any anomalies on the police. When the police received a report of such incidents, they had to hurry to the affected shop to prevent damage to people or androids. To be honest, they mostly came so that the humans don't damage the android, because, due to their new program, they were not allowed to inflict any form of harm on people. They would just try to convince them with words to leave, or they would try to hold them back, which always fails. Gavin had the bad luck only once that he had to go to such a report and when he arrived, the two androids had been severely damaged by a group of teenagers, as they had taken it from the android records. They must have fled when they heard the siren of the police car. But, thanks to the drones, which were following them the whole time, Gavin and another police officer were able to find them. He remembered that he thought to let them go just for a second, because he supports what they did, but since he enjoyed making other people's lives harder, he decided to arrest them. If they didn't wanted to get caught, they shouldn't have done it in a public place, right? Actually, Gavin also damaged some androids by himself from time to time, and got some fines and reminders, as Fowler likes to remind him off. But, who cares. They are just machines, who don't feel anything. When one of them break, another machine will take its place, so, it doesn't matter if he damages one, right?

Gavin was torn from his thoughts when he was blinded by the bright headlights of an approaching car. The yellow vehicle came to rest in front of him and the door opened. Conan stepped outside, closed the door and placed himself to Gavin's left side. The detective heard a voice from the inside of the car before the android slammed the door: You arrived your destination. The amount of $14,80 will be purchased from-. Conan followed the taxi with his eyes until it disappeared, and then turned to Gavin. His LED-light was in a yellow tone and his eyes went up and down on the detective, before he crossed his arms and visible starts to shiver. Gavin bit his lips, trying to suppress his anger he feels for that android. He couldn't help himself and placed his hand across his face. What have I done to deserve this?, he thought.

"What the fuck are you doing", Gavin asked, in hope that he would get a different answer than the obvious one. The machine opened his mouth to say something, but it got interrupted by his partner. "If you want to say that you just try to copy me, because of your stupid program, I will shoot you immediately, understood? It's quite obvious, since you are not able to feel anything, plastic prick." Gavin glared at the android, who seemed confused for few seconds, before he lowered his arms. Without saying a word, he pressed his hand against Gavin's forehead. Gavin struck the hand of the android off and hit him in the face with his fist. The android stepped back and wiped some blue blood from his nose with his hand.
