Breaking the Curse

It felt like I slept for only ten minutes. When I looked over my left shoulder the gang was still asleep. We all slept so weird, Mia fell asleep on my shoulder, Randy slept on Mia's lap, and Ryan and I slept with our faces on the window. I tried to go back to sleep, but Mia's big head gave me a crick in my neck.

                       My Thoughts
          "Should I wake her up?"
"No, the girl talks too much. You know if you wake her up you'll regret it, she'll talk your ears off. Then your neck and your ears would be sore. Besides she'll be up soon."

                          Reality
I then tried to call our driver to see how much longer do we have until we reach our destination, but for some peculiar reason he couldn't hear me. Probably because this is Maxi glass and there's just some crazy people in this world that you just can't trust.

I heard my phone ringing. When I looked to see who it was, I realized it was dad. I ignored it.

"Who phone was that?" Mia asked as she was yawning in a low voice, and stretching to the point that she almost hit me in the jaw.

"Hey, watch it! And it was my dad."

"You didn't tell him anything did you?"

"Of course not, and how did my brother end up on your lap?" I said chuckling.

"I don't know, but he's so cute when he's asleep." She said with a creepy smile on her face.

"One that is real pedophile stuff, two what do you see in him, and three if only you knew how annoying he really is."

"Girl chillax, I know he secretly likes me back, and just think of me as your future sister-in-law. And plus three years apart isn't really a huge difference."

  "Mia, that's a enormous difference."

"It wouldn't look like it because he's a bit taller than me, and that'll be like a thirty-eight and a thirty-five was dating. Is that a pervert move, I think not. If you think I ask him out do you think he'll say yeah?"

"I don't know and I don't care, but do whatever you want. But when he gets on your nurves to Mars and back, don't say I didn't warn you."

"Ok I won't. We're going to be magical."

"Anyways... are we close to your grandmother's house?"

Umm... yeah, we just have to go up highway seventeen, turn left from the City Hall, then boom we're on Elm Street."

"WAIT WHAT, ELM STREET! Do you know what street that is?! Nu-uh, you aren't going to date my brother. Your whole family history is involved with evil and demonic things!" I said as I was raising my voice.

"Rach, chill! What's so bad about Elm Street, besides you never even seen it. It has the biggest houses you could ever imagine. It looks like you'd just arrived in Heaven when you first go in the neighborhood.

"Hello? Have you ever seen any of the Freddy Krueger movies?"

"Yeah! The man who plays as Freddy was my GG's ex husband. I think his name was Tobbie Sexton. He was actually the one who created the street and he gave his house to GG."

"How on the living planet did your grandma pull a magnificent movie star like him?!" I asked astounded.

"Girl she wasn't ugly, and at first it was a dead end and it was by the hotel he was staying by down here for a couple of days. O yeah, btw's this was after he made his first movie. So, he thought like hey why not make a real Elm Street. So he talked to the government of Illinois, the movie people, the director and such, and they clarified that it was ok, and I guess it was."
