Figuring it Out

"What's wrong!" Ryan and Randy screamed.
"Just get me a wet towel!"

I then heard dad's voice.
"What on Earth is going on now!" He screamed.

I wiped my eyes, they were still burning, and red.

I looked him dead in the eye and said "there's an evil spirit in this house."

"That's preposterous, if there was a ghost in this house why have it only gotten you! Why not the rest of us?"

As my vision was starting to retrieve I said "Look at the facts. My window kept on flying open even when the wind wasn't blowing and after I locked it. My mirror spelled out next door, and save yourselves, and it obviously wasn't Ryan or Randy. And it turned into dust and flew in my eyes, see look at my eyes, they're blood red. O yeah, and how is it possible that Randy, Ryan, and I all had nightmares the same night about the exact same thing about the creepy house next door."

Then mom walked up.

"Rach, are you feeling well, is the headache making you delusional?" She asked.

"No, I'm the one that's trying to save you guys. You guys need to start paying attention to this house, but no, you guys are so in lala land, you don't know a thing that's going on. Any other couple would believe their fifteen year old daughter on this type of stuff!" I screamed.

"Rachel, I'm going to ground you for a whole month. This kind of behavior doesn't make any sense." Dad said.

"You know what Rach, I'm going to make you an appointment to the therapist. I'm really worried about you." Mom said.

I was in so much shock. My own parents don't believe me and grounded me, because I spoke facts. I'm only trying to save them. I know whatever it is in this house, I'm going to get to the bottom of it, even if I have to do this all by myself, and I don't even care how long it takes.

"Don't even bother getting ready for the day, you're not going with us. I'll have mom to pick out your bedroom set and everything." Dad said

"No! No! Nooo! Please don't leave me here in this nut house alone!"

"If one of your brothers wants to stay here, they can. And yea time to tell the psychologist something is wrong." Dad said.
I ignored him on that last part.

"I'll stay home with Rachel." Randy said.

"What about your bedroom set? Don't you want to pick it out?" Dad asked.

"Ryan knows what to do, we talked about how we wanted our rooms all through the ride here."

"Ok, but Rach we're still getting you a phone, since you'll be needing one for school and all that junk."
"Thanks dad!" I smiled for the first time today.

As mom, dad, and Ryan walked out my room, Randy whispered, "Only reason why I stayed is because I believe you. And small things has been happening to Ryan and I too, and we think there's something up with this house also."

"So why in the hell didn't you guys say anything! If the three of us were on it, they probably would've believed us."

"Hush, keep your voice down."

"Ok, what happen to you guys?"

" On the toilet paper in our bathroom it spelled out next door, so I just thought it was Ryan messing around, since we share the same bathroom. And you know how he likes to pick and play around so much. And Ryan said that on the tiles in the shower spelled out save yourself in old dust. Then we began to get curious."

"But Randy, since mom and dad won't believe us, how are we going to stop this madness."

"Ok, so it's obviously the house next door, but which one?"
"Obviously the empty and really creepy one! Duh moron, try to keep up." I said sarcastically and rolling my eyes.
