Chapter 5- getting to know morality

I woke up a around 7:30am, I usually wake up this early and there wasn't much I could do besides lay down and play on my phone until someone else wakes up. About 2 hours passed when I heard someone open their door and walk down the stairs. (Super hearing •_•) I deciding to wait about 5 minuets to leave my room to make it look like I wasn't waiting for someone to get up. (Has anyone else done this? No, just me..ok) I put on a long sleeved shirt I bought from the mall and put on the same pants I wore yesterday. I gently opened the door, (if you understand the reference ur amazing lol) and walked downstairs to see Patton starting to make breakfast. He didn't seem to notice me until I walked a little bit closer. He turned and looked at me. "Hey kiddo! Your up early!" I smiled "heh yeah I usually don't sleep in very late, um do you want any help with breakfast?" "Sure!" He said happily. After a few minutes Logan came down reading a book, he looked up and saw us "good morning Patton, Y/N." He said. "Morning!" Me and Patton said. We finished making breakfast after a little while and Patton called everyone down, I picked up a plate and got B/F (breakfast food) then went to table with everyone else. There was only one chair and it was next to Virgil so I sat there. Everyone started talking to each other and you just sat there awkwardly eating your food, you noticed Virgil taking some glances at you, kinda like he was trying to look at as many features of me as possible without me noticing I decided to ignore it it was probably nothing. After we all finished eating everyone put their plates in the sink and did their own thing, I didn't exactly know what to do so I just went back up to my room. After a couple minutes of doing nothing there was a knock on my door. I got up and opened the door, it was Patton. "Hey kiddo! I was about to go grocery shopping wanna come with me?" He asked. I nodded "Sure!" I put my shoes on and and walked out of my room with him. We went to the car and as he drove we made small talk. It wasn't a very long drive about 5 or 10 minuets. When we got there we first went to the jelly isle to get Logan some more Crofters. "So Y/N, I don't mean to sound rude but, you kinda appeared into our lives out of nowhere, my question is why? We had no idea you were Thomas's friend until like yesterday and you moved in"  He said. I hesitated to answer."Well...I-I" I stuttered. He looked at me looking serious but caring. "I-I had an abusive boyfriend/girlfriend" my eyes brimmed with tears. "A-and yesterday Thomas and I went to the mall b-but when I checked the time I knew I would actually die if I went h-home, so he offered me to move in with him, I'm sorry if I've been a bother, I really am and I can leave if you want I can p-probably find and apartment and-" I was cut off by him hugging me (cuz that's Patton for ya) "I'm sorry that you were abused, please don't move out, we are all your friends even if we don't yet know you personally." I hugged him back. "T-thanks" after a minute of hugs be both pulled away and finished shopping making jokes and just talking we went back to the car after checking out. We got back to the house and just enjoyed the rest of the day hanging out and watching TV, I learned more about Patton and he learned more about me. Then before we knew it it was already late we went to our rooms. I turned the light out and went to sleep ,overall not too bad of a day,probably one of my bests.
