My foot was heavy on the gas of my all black BMW convertible. Elle blasted APESHIT by the Carters, hyping both of us up. The Junkfest was one of the most profiting festival out here. You came and to get in you brought Junk to get in. They would refurbish that junk and donate it to the salvation army and goodwill. The music was always fresh and so was the food.

"I'm too  hype! I'm done with Sahif if he's messing off!" Elle yelled over the music. I nodded my head because I would be too. Sahif was on his second chance and he was well over the age of maturity.

We entered the the other part of the city where the Junk fest was held and the aroma in the air let us know that we were in the right spot. The girls were out rocking their sleeziest wear, while the men were out here choosing. My phone rang and Elle grabbed it, "It's Yuri! hello!"

"Yes she's driving me to the hospital to see my granny," Elle said with a smile. she nodded her head and thanked Yuri for the well wishes. City Girls hit song "Period" came blasting through my speakers. Since we were stuck in traffic and the women listening to the song from my car started dancing.

"Ayyyyyeeeee" We yelled out to the women dancing to the music.

"Oh shit" Elle screeched. She pointed to Sahif's car, so we knew he was here. "I'm about to text him and ask him where he is." I nodded my head and kept my sights on traffic. Everything was so packed, and I couldn't help but to look at the eye candy that was checking us out.

"Mutha fucka!" Elle yelled.

"What?"

"He gone tell me out of town handling a drop," she sighed. Her feelings were indeed hurt, but my girl was hard body, she would bounce back. "Park right here." Elle spotted a parking spot and I was grateful. We walked towards the entrance and handed them a few clothing items. there were thousands of people here, so where can we find Sahif?

Elle and I walked around for hours and Sahif was not in sight. She sighed long and hard, "Fuck it."

"Girl we gon-" I looked over to see Sahif talking to some woman. I grabbed Elle and drug her by the concession. I nodded towards Sahif and the girl and before I knew it Elle was running towards them.

"Elle hold the fuck up!" I yelled. Elle was deaf to my yells as she ran up on the woman and punched her. She toppled out of her seat holding her jaw. The lady spit out blood, but Elle didn't care. She jumped on her and started whooping her. Her fist connected with the woman's face, but Sahif had enough and snatched Elle up.

"Fuck is wrong with you? You on crack or something?" Sahif looked so distressed but angry more than everything.

"You really questioning me but you out here hanging with some bitch? Or handling a drop," Elle spat. She put emphasis on bitch and I felt that.

"Bruh! You probably just cost me a big trade and your fucking hand in marriage!" Sahif said. He was done. He was over Elle being insecure, he understood that he could have tarnished her trust back in the day, but if she didn't forgive him she could have denied him. "Fuck bruh!" He helped the woman up and dug into his pockets for some napkins. "I'm sorry Ashley, my brother will fix this."

The lady looked at him with evil eyes as she wiped her bloody nose. She reached into her purse for her gun, but Sahif stopped her, "you don't have to do that." Sahif knew the Sharpe sisters were ruthless, they ran these streets and she wouldn't have hesitate to kill Elle in cold blood. Today Sahif only met with the oldest one, Ashley, who was the boss. Elle's tough demeanor faded as she realized she touched a drug lord.

"Why did you lie?" Elle asked Sahif.

His face was scrunched up, " You really asking me this right now?  I lied cause of this!" he held his arms outstretched. "This is the reason Elle! You're insecure and it's effecting my business. If I told you I was going to the Junk Fest with a connect named Ashley would you have believed me?" He asked. Elle looked around which proved him right.

"See! Shit man, now I have to protect you! This is my first woman connect and you go and knock her ass upside the head!"Sahif yelled causing people to finally pay attention. The Junk fest was unpredictable so the little squabble between Elle and Ashley wasn't taken notice. Half the attenders were drunk anyway.

"And what's this about my hand in marriage?" Elle ask as she crossed her hands over her chest.

"Fuck it now! I was making a business deal on top of her bringing me one of the biggest diamonds her country had to offer! Fuck you dawg! I'm out! We are over!" Sahif said as he waltzed off. Elle tried to grab his arm but he yanked it, "Move!"

I grabbed Elle as I saw her knees getting weak. I hugged her as she started crying, but there wasn't much I could do. I was just riding with my friend, but maybe I should have stopped her. I had a feeling this time that Sahif was done with her, but I wouldn't care because I always felt like you never should have to go through hell to get a stupid ring. It was partially his fault that she couldn't trust him fully, but it was her fault because she could have just not have been with him. Damn man.
