I rolled over looking at the time. It was almost noon so I got up and finally decided to start my day. I didn't have any classes today because Mrs. Lovebed cancelled class. Of course, I rolled over and went back to sleep. Now I'm up trying to figure out what's there to do today. My phone rang again and I just knew it was Yuri. I've left his ass alone since he caused that scene, but Yuri won't take no for an answer.
"What!" I shrieked.
"Why are you yelling? Did I yell at you baby?" he asked. His voice sent chills down my spine. I walked over to my teal, plush comforter and let my body melt into the fabric.
"I can yell, don't you yell?"
"I yell when I feel the need to protect," he spoke.
"I don't need protecting," I snapped.
"Calm your sassy ass down, yes you do."
"No I don't and I definitely don't need you acting like a over bearing man because Elle's cousin hugged me," I spoke.
"Well I should be the only one wrapping my arms around you," he spoke.
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever you say, anything to act an ass." I grabbed my brush and started to pull my hair up into a ponytail. Yuri' was toxic, and I knew it.
"You got class today?" he asked.
"No, Mrs. Lovebed cancelled like she always does."
I could hear him click his tongue on the other line, "Get dressed and be ready around five, I'm taking you somewhere." I rolled my eyes at his demands as if he could see me.
"Hmmmmm, I'll think about it," I toyed with him.
"Well if you wanna miss out on a free meal and my Jacuzzi tub then that's on you," he said. I hung up the phone in his face dismissing his offer. I was excited and happy to go, but I needed him to know that he couldn't buy me with a meal.
Boom!
"Open the door Erry!" Elle had finally gained some manners and knocked on the door.
"What!" I yelled.
She continued to knock, "Open this door Erry! Don't take my manners for weakness! I'll bust in there!" I walked towards the door and swung it open.
"Now what?" I stood firm with my hands on my hips.
"Move bitch! You need to get ready cause we're going to Junkfest this afternoon. Why you look all raggedy?" Elle said with a stank face.
"First of all, I was sleep," I spat.
"More like you and your hair stylist got into a fist fight," Elle retorted.
"Move what did you come to get?" I asked.
"I came to talk about Sahif-
"Ok, look, I'm not going to no damn Junkfest cause Yuri picking me up at five, but I will be here to talk about Sahif. Now shoot!"I plopped down on my bed Indian style and looked at Elle. She was looking at me like she just smelled the worst fart known to man.
"Whatever! Anyways Sahif has been acting funny," she said.
I scrunched my face up in confusion, "what do you mean?"
She smacked her lips, "His Vibe. He's just not the same."
"Alright so have you talked to him?" I asked.
She shook her head and then looked down at the bed in complete despair. I pulled her into me and gave her a hug because if anybody knew, I knew. "So you think he's cheating?"
She pulled away from the hug, wiping her eyes. Her yellow skin was now red from all the crying. "So, I stayed the night over there because I wanted to spend a little time with him. Those were were my plans today, but he acted a bit agitated with my being there. Then he's been taking phone calls outside all damn day," she whined.
"Abort mission," I said.
She looked at me as if she was thinking, "That's why I wanted to go to the Junkfest."
My eyebrows were scrunched up in confusion, "Why?"
she scooted closer to me as if it wasn't just us in the room, "I saw a message from this girl named Ashley yesterday telling him to meet her at the Junkfest tomorrow." My eyes got wide and I knew if Elle caught him there with another woman she would be done with him. Elle wasn't the one to assume, but she rather catch you in the act. I thought about how Yuri, and pulled out my phone to shoot him a text. I let him know to come at nine I had some business to handle. Of course, he called to be nosy, but it was none of his concern right now.
"Alright well I'm about to get dressed, we about to pull up!" Her face lit up and she grabbed her jacket. We were about to give Sahif the surprise of his life. He wasn't about to play my girl. I slipped my hair in a tight ponytail, slipped on some black tights with a over sized VS shirt. I greased my face and laced up my huaraches and we hit the door.
"Let's go get his ass!"
