Hey my lovelies, this will be the last chapter of Beneath the Willow. I didn't plan it out very well and I was starting to run out of ideas. I hope you enjoy this last chapter.

Lyra was beginning to recover. Physically she was much better. Mentally however, was a different story. It would take a long time for Lyra and those around her to recover from mental trauma.
"How are you feeling?" Lina asked. Lyra gave her a small smile.
"Better, Lina...I'm sorry," Lyra said.
"Don't apologize. You have been through so much in you're life. I just want you to know that I'm here whenever you need me," Lina said. She gave Lyra one of her unique motherly smiles.
"Thank you so much Lina," Lyra said. Lina walked over and hugged her. They stayed like that for awhile.
Kain walked in and noticed Lyra asleep. Lina was sitting in one of the chairs by her bed.
"Good evening, Mrs. McBride," Kain said politely. Lina smiled at him. He pulled up a chair and sat down. "How is she?" He questioned.
"She's doing better. The doctors are releasing her tomorrow," Lina replied.
"That's good," he said. He grabbed her hand and rubbed it softly with his thumb. "She really scared me," Kain commented.
"Yeah, tell me about it. I was downright terrified," She said. "I'm just glad she's okay now,"
"Me too," Was his reply.

The forest was brightly lit by the glistening afternoon sun. Lyra walked through the forest. Kain was by her side. They held hands as they walked down the path. The forest opened up to a beautiful meadow with a tall, old Willow tree sitting near the edge of the cut off. The two walked through the tall grass and flowers. They walked to the willow tree and sat down. Its giant trunk sturdy. The sun beamed down on them through the leaves, creating a beautiful design on the ground. The grass was soft and a vibrant green color. The flowers that littered the meadow were all different colors.
"Lyra I love you so much. You are my everything and I don't want to lose you," Kain said pulling out a necklace and a ring box. The necklace had a silver chain and glistening infinity sign on it. He took the ring out of the ring box. It was very simple. It was a silver ring with an infinity sign on it, much like the necklace. "I want to give you these in hopes that someday we can take our relationship further. I've known you for the longest time and you are my everything," He said.
Lyra had tears in her eyes. "Kain...I love you too," She said. He put the promise ring on her finger. She let him put the necklace on her before throwing her arms around him. She let him go. He kissed her letting all his emotions out into the kiss.
"Hey guys!" Jax and Ranea were running in their direction. They all talked. The pieces of the puzzle were finally fitting together.
After a while Ranea and Jax left. Lyra and Kain walked slowly back to his car in the glittering moonlight. Lyra was finally, truly happy for the first time in a very long time. She was scheduled to meet up with her father the next day.
Later that night as Lyra lay in bed she remembered how unhappy she was all that time ago. How little hope she had that she would ever be happy again. And now, she remembered how her heart was about to burst with happiness earlier that day. With that thought she fell asleep.
Lyra awoke the next morning to her alarm blaring loudly by her ear. She rolled out of bed and got ready to see her father. After she got dressed she walked down to the kitchen. "I'm going out today, Lina. To see my father," Lyra said. Lina nodded hesitantly.
