The Great Mermaid Rescue Part 2

"Dad? Dad wake up!" Fontaine said, as she gently shakes her father with a little help from her younger brother, Ant. After a while Will began waking up to not even recognizing his own children at first because he just woke up and his vision was blurry, so it took some time for his eyes to refocus. "Oh Ant Fontaine its only you two." Will said relived to find out that it was only his children. But Ant and Fontaine were very confused on how their very own father ended up from his and Kaiko's room to the moon pool room. At that point Will had no choice, but to tell Ant and Fontaine everything that occurred last night, and just from the expression of the sibling's faces what they're about to hear wasn't good. After Will was done telling Ant and Fontaine about everything that had happened they were all worried about Kaiko."Don't worry we'er gonna bring her back, and we're doing this together." Will said placing each hand on Ant and Fontaine's shoulders which made them feel a little better, and then looked at each other with smiles on their faces. "Let's go save Mom!" The siblings said together at the same time with confidence. Once Will, Ant, and Fontaine switch into their wet suits,and dived in the rescue has begun. While the whole search and rescue event was going on Kaiko was trying her best to wake up, but all those images form last night continue popping up in her head, and then she gasped actually making her wide awake. Kaiko then had a quick look around to realize that she was stuck in a dungeon cell. "Will? Kids? Anybody?" Kaiko yelled hoping that her family would turn up, but then she realized that she didn't even transformed which can only mean one thing, the shadowy figure must have took her pendant while she was unconscious. "Looking for this?"The young figure said holding Kaiko's pendant in her hands, that made her upset. "Whoever you are reveal yourself." Kaiko said with anger. The shadowy figure nodded and took off the cloak that hid her entire body, and revealed a young mermaid with tan skin, long black hair with a red streak going through it, dark blue eyes, wearing a black bikini, and a black fish tail. Kaiko read about a mermaid like her once before she even found out that she was a mermaid herself, she was known as the nightmare mermaid. "The name is Luna the nightmare mermaid and i'm here to inform you that I have your pendant. Trust me I see a future far more important than you're family." Luna said with an evil laugh. "What have you done to my family? What are you going to do with my pendant?" Kaiko yelled.  "First of all I didn't do much, but placed a sleeping spell on your husband, but don't worry its only temporary,and with this pendant I will use it to bring chaos to the Island." Luna said letting out another evil laugh as she leaves Kaiko alone. "Just wait until my family finds out about all this." kaiko muttered to herself. "Find out about what?" Kaiko suddenly heard a familiar voice, and it turned out too be her son, Ant and Kaiko really wanted to hug him, but she was locked up behind bars. "Well I'm glad to see you Ant, but wheres you're father and sister?"Kaiko asked. "They're searching the other side of whatever this place is its kinda of a long story actually. By the way mom, we're you looking for your pendant?" Ant said showing the glowing blue pendant to her mother on one hand while he manages to unlock the lock to set her free and then gave his mother that pendant. At that moment when Kaiko put on her pendant there was a beautiful bright glow literally surrounding kaiko. What really caught Ant's attention was after Kaiko's transformation to find out that his mother looked completely different. "Ant! Thank you." Kaiko said, as she hugged her son. Ant was 100% speechless just seeing his mom's new form kept him from responding for a moment or two. "Mom you're a mermaid?" Ant said surprised. "I'm sorry Ant I never expected you would have to see me like this." Kaiko said. Ant had so many questions and mixed emotions going on in his mind, but Kaiko can tell that he is trying his best to manage that. "Did I at least made a good first impression?" Ant asked. Kaiko laughed at Ant's question and then swam off, and Ant took all that as a yes and then went to catch up with his mother to not only to meet up with the rest of the family, but reveal the truth to Fontanie. Once Ant and Kaiko had the other half of the family, Fontaine couldn't even believe the only thing that really got her attention at that moment, and that took awhile for her to realize that was her mother. "Mom is that really you,as a mermaid?" Fontaine asked. Kaiko nodded and Fontaine was shocked to find out that her mother is an actual mermaid she then swam to her mother just to hug her, and then it went from an unbelievable moment to a dangerous situation. "Where is she?" Kaiko recognized that voice as it echoed, it was that evil mermaid, Luna, and Kaiko has to think of something fast. "We have to get out of here now, no time for questions." Kaiko said trying to escape but something caught her right on the tail, but this time it was one of Luna's powers, it was a some kind of whip that kept stinging her every time she tries to escape, but with help from her husband and kids they managed to escape unharmed. Once the Nektons made it up shore safely and Kaiko transformed back to normal Ant and Fontaine still couldn't believe what he just found out about his mother,but Will was curious. "Kaiko who was that other mermaid who captured you last night?" Will asked. "I'm glad you mentioned it Will because is about time you knew that mermaid or shadowy figure you saw was another mermaid named Luna, and not only she is after me she is after my pendant. She would do anything to get her hands on this pendant." Kaiko replied. "Well the best part is that we all made it out alive." Will said, and hugged his wife not the minding the wetness at all, then Ant and Fontaine joined in making it a group hug. At last the Nektons were able to enjoy their last few days on vacation at Mako Island.
