A Mermaid's secret (The deep fanfiction)

The Lost Kingdom🐬🐬🐬🐬

It was midnight on the aronnax, and Kaiko was twisting and turning as if she was having a nightmare, but actually she's not. Inside of Kaiko's dream she found herself underwater once again, but not only she was in mermaid form she was surrounded by not a city but a kingdom were her breed once ruled. As Kaiko began exploring this undersea ruins an unknown figure zoomed right pass her, and Kaiko went to investigate what the figure actually is, but before she could even get to that she was back to the comfort of her side of the bed along with her husband, and she can feel the rapid heart beat in her chest. "Turns out i'm not going back to sleep." Kaiko said, as she checked the clock on her communicator reading 5:00 am. Kaiko then put on her bikini, and head up to the deck. Once Kaiko was on the deck  she jumped into to ocean, and transformed into a mermaid. As Kaiko began swimming towards the bottom where she witnessed the most amazing sight she had ever seen, the mermaid kingdom her real home, and now all she has to do is to find that shadowy figure. "Hello? Is anyone there?" Kaiko said to herself, as she swims around the enchanted ruins until the figure zoomed right past her, exactly what she saw in her dream. Then, Kaiko went to the direction where the figure went, but was stopped by a barrier of the kingdom where she caught by her tail, and struggled to let go,but the good news was she is prepared with her communicator so she can contact Will, and only Will because she didn't want Ant and Fontaine to find out about that their own mother is a mermaid  just yet. Back on the Aronnax, Will was enjoying breakfast with Ant and Fontaine until he received a call from his wife in danger, and took action right away. "Wait, wherever you're going to we're going with you." Ant said with a worry tone. Fontaine was worried as well Kaiko is Ant and Fontaine's mother after all. Will did agree with his son's statement, but the problem is that if the kids see their mother as a mermaid they could have second thoughts or worst scared of their own mother. "Sorry kids, but its for your mother plus it may be dangerous i'm not risk anyone else to get hurt, so it best if you two stay put." Will said, as he ran towards the moon pool room and dived right in to save his wife. At one point while Kaiko was struggling to be released the figure manage to take her pendant which is a problem for Kaiko she didn't have her mask with her,and she went back to normal struggling to get to the surface for air, then later blacked out. The next thing Kaiko woke up back on the Aronnax covered in a towel, and was cold to the touch, but mostly soaked. "Thank goodness you're okay Kaiko." Will said as he was very relived  to find out that his wife is alive, but when Kaiko was about to say something she was cut off by a kiss on her head. Then Ant and Fontaine joined the couple, and hugged Kaiko and she did the same until she noticed something odd that she never noticed until now. "My pendant is gone!" Kaiko said nearly having a panick attack,but she couldn't even believe that her pendant was taken by that shadowy figure and didn't noticed and without it she is completely powerless. "You might want to think again mom." Fontaine said cuing her dad to show his wife her pendant, and Kaiko was relived instantly to find out that it was in safe hands. "Thanks you guys, but I need to have a private talk with your father alone." Kaiko said looking straight at Will, and he looked right back at her.Finally the Nekton siblings left their parents room, and Kaiko started to explain everything that had happened earlier to Will. "So what you're saying is that you were actually exploring your actual home until someone tried to restrain you, and you don't even know who it is?" Will said and Kaiko nodded in agreement, but she had a lot going on in her mind. "Not only that I believe that whoever is after me could also want their hands on pendent for who knows what." Kaiko said holding her pendant with its beautiful glow. "Don't worry about that me and the kids are here to protecting you even though we're on vacation." Will said kissing her wife on both cheeks which made Kaiko blush. Speaking of Ant and Fontaine, Kaiko thought about revealing her secret to them or not, and finally made a decision. "Hey Will I was thinking about you know exposing my secret to the Ant and Fontaine, and i'm not going to tell them, but I will let them find out themselves because I know Ant would believe me if I tell him, but Fontaine would want to see it to believe it." Kaiko said and Will nodded in agreement with that statement. "Well if you really want Ant and Fontaine to know all this, I say go for it princess." Will said gliding his hand into Kaiko's hand where their wedding rings meet. "Thank you sweetie for supporting me." Kaiko said hugging the love of her life, and the began getting ready of the day ahead.

Hey guys I'm officially done with finals,and I am so ready for summer break which gives me more time to update this story for you guys, so expect more content in the future. At this point this chapter will be my eighth chapter for this story, and I really want to know what you think of the story so far.
