It was a beautiful morning at the mythical island of Mako. The sun was rising, and the ocean was sparkling like diamonds. Its was a very special day for all mothers around the world, especially for Kaiko. It was mother's day of course, and Kaiko spend her morning just by sleeping in because she was up late last night, but she had no idea that her family would surprise her. Will quietly walked into the room where Kaiko was sleeping with a tray of a nice breakfast, trying his very best not wake his wife up, until he gets a little closer to the bed. When Will was about the gently shake his wife up, she already started to stretch and open her eyes, but it didn't take long for Kaiko to notice her husband. "Well good morning sleeping beauty." Will said, kissing Kaiko on the cheek, which brightened up her mood. "What do you have there Will?" Kaiko said, noticing the tray of breakfast in her husbands hand. "Well actually, this is for you. The kids and I wanted surprise you for mother's day." Will said, placing the tray on the covers. Kaiko was really surprised, she completely forgot that today was mother's day. But she was very grateful to have a family like the one she has. "Thank you Will, and tell the kids I said thank you as well." Kaiko said, with a happy smile and then, Will left the room with a smile. As Kaiko enjoyed her breakfast, she had remembered all of the remarkable things she has done not just for herself, but for her family, such as outsmarting Captain Hammerhead and his crew. Kaiko couldn't even believe that she has made up to this very moment, despite of all of life's ups and downs times she have been through. Way before Kaiko met the love of her life, Will she really didn't have a normal childhood. First of all, Kaiko barely knew her father, it was just her and her mother. Later on, Kaiko's mother a job at a marine sanctuary,which sparked her inspiration and interest for marine biology. During Kaiko's childhood, she was obsessed with mermaids, but she had no idea was one herself. Unfortunately, she was bullied for this when she was in school, and would come home everyday in tears. This went on until one day, Kaiko was sitting in a shade of a tree watching all the other students play, wishing she had someone to hangout with until a young girl with blond hair and green eyes showed up in front of her, with a butterfly crawling around her arm. "You can hold the butterfly if you want." The young girl said, giving the butterfly to Kaiko which made her smile. At that point she made her first friend and they have done everything together ever since. Her name is Trish, and Kaiko cherish every single moment with her from hanging out to slumber parties. All of that changed when Kaiko was on her senior year of high school during a final biology exam. Trish didn't study for the biology exam, but on the other hand Kaiko did study for the exam. Then, Trish decided to look over friends paper, but right when she tried to get some answers off of Kaiko's exam she covered it with her arms and slide it to the left trying her best not to get accused for cheating. When Kaiko got home that day she called Trish right away. "Hey Trish, you've been pretty much avoiding me through the rest of the day, and I was wondering if you're okay." Kaiko said, very worried about her friend. Was it something she did? Was it something she said, a few days before exams even started? There were so many possibles that could've happened. Trish told Kaiko everything how she even manage to try to cheat off Kaiko's exam which actually made Kaiko upset. "First of all, I know we're and all that, but we never ever cheat off each others work." Kaiko said, with anger a lot of anger. Ever since that mini argument Kaiko and Trish haven't been in contact, that was until they met face to face in college. Around that time Kaiko wanted to restart her friendship with Trish, but every time Kaiko attempts to ask for forgiveness Trish wouldn't accept it, instead she would threaten her to stay away, shove her to point where she falls with her stuff all over the floor, and other students laughing at Kaiko with no one stepping in to put this cycle of bullying to an end. Until one day, Kaiko simply had enough with this endless cycle of pain and suffering, and began to ran outside as others laughed at her. Then, Kaiko dropped her things next to her and sobbed quietly until she noticed a tall black male with brown hair and eyes, but Kaiko didn't take him seriously. "Look if you're going say something be my guest I don't care anymore." Kaiko said as she sobbed even more. The young male didn't want to tease Kaiko he actually want to help her, at that moment Kaiko started to gain trust within him especially when he gave back one of her missing notebooks. "Thank you so much, you're a life saver." Kaiko said with a sigh of relief, but had no idea about his name. "William, William Nekton, but I go by Will." Will said, greeting Kaiko. Kaiko introduced herself, shake hands, and went on to class and things went on just like that throughout their college year and Will made sure that Trish never steps close to Kaiko again. As times passed by, Will and Kaiko realize that their more than just college friends, so on that exact night they confessed their love for each other under a cherry blossom tree. Some more time passes by and the two love birds made so much process, they even graduated college together and decided to build a submarine, the Aronnax. Despite the fact that Will had to go to the United Kingdom for 3 months for a swimming tournament, without Kaiko, but they manage by calling each other every night, but what Will didn't know is Kaiko had a surprise that would change his life forever, and the same went for Kaiko. When Will got back from the UK, he noticed that Kaiko was pretty much quiet and he knew something was wrong. They went to a small park and sat under the same cherry blossom tree where they confessed their love. "Kaiko you have been quiet since I got back, is there something you're not telling me?" Will said, very worried about kaiko. At that point she manage to admit that she was pregnant. Will was pretty surprised by this, coming back to expecting their first child. But this didn't stop Will from doing what he want to ask her for a while. Will than bent down on one knee, pulled out a small box and opened it revealing a beautiful diamond ring, and asking for marriage. Kaiko nodded and leaped into her husband's arms and kissed him on the lips. A couple months went by and everything was running right into schedule, Will and Kaiko are now a married couple and the Aronnax was complete just in time for a miracle which is Fontaine being born, and they were really excited to see their daughter grow up into a loveable young lady. They had shared many moments with Fontaine and when Fontaine was about 3 years old, Ant was born. Now they were one happy family of 4. Suddenly a knock on the door sent Kaiko from her thoughts and back to reality. It was Ant standing in front of the door, and he told his mother to meet them outside. Kaiko of course nodded and wore another beautiful summer like dress and went outside to a full day of Kaiko being treated like the center of the universe.
