Chapter 9

Amanda's POV-
I was woken up by an alarm ringing and it wasn't an alarm I had set. I opened my eyes and sat up, I got scared when I saw someone sleeping next to me. I had remembered that Marcus slept over, nothing happened between us. I started to wake Marcus up since it was his alarm ringing.
"Marcus wake up, your alarm" I said to him
He got up and turned of his alarm.
"How are you feeling?" He asked
"Better" I said
"I need to get going, I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked
"Im leaving today to go watch the sweden match that's on Saturday" I said
"Okay I'll see you Monday?" He said
"I'm actually gonna be at your match against panama" I told him
"Oh I guess I'll see you on Sunday" he said to me
"I'll see you then" I said to him.
I crawled to the other side to give him a hug before he left.
I gave him a hug and he hugged me back before leaving.
I laid back down in bed and got under the covers. After a couple of seconds there was a knock on the door, he must of forgotten something.
After opening the door I saw both Stina and Pontus, by the look on their faces they must of seen Marcus.
"You wanna explain?" Stina asked as they walked in
"Not really" I said to them
"Spill it" stina said
"Last night I was hanging out with the guys Kyle invited me after the whole thing, then ashley was asking once again about Isaac and I got upset, Marcus followed me up we watched Harry Potter and slept" I said to them
"That's all?" Stina asked
"Yes what you also calling me a slut now?" I asked annoyed
"You know id never" she said
"I know I'm sorry, this whole situation is so frustrating" I said
"How are you feeling?" Pontus asked
"I'm kinda hungry" I said avoiding the question
"Amanda" he said
"I don't know honestly, I don't know what to say or how to feel" I said
"I hate to make it worse" stina trailed off
"What?" I asked
"There's paparazzi surrounding the whole hotel" Stina said
"When do we leave?"  I asked
"The car is gonna be here in 30 minuets" Pontus said
"I guess I should get ready" I said them getting off the couch.
I took a quick shower and then got ready. I was wearing black joggers and a grey hoodie. I started to pack my bag for the clothes I was bringing along on the trip.
"Are you ready?" Stina asked from the couch
"Yes" I said as I put on my backpack and my sunglasses.
After getting down to the lobby we could see all the paparazzi outside.
"I don't want to go out there, they'll eat me alive" I said
"How about I go out, tell him to drive out back and then you two meet us there" Stina said and she left
"I put myself in this mess" I said to Pontus
"It's not your fault, it's the media and the reporters who twist everything just so they can make money,they're the problem not you " he said as we walked towards the back entrance
"But I'm a reporter too, doesn't that make me apart of the problem too?" I asked
"No because you don't spread all this false shit and negativity, you're doing what you love and you shouldn't feel bad about that at all" Pontus said to me as we walked out back.
After entering the car we drove off towards the airport, I was really exited to see Maja and Sanna. But also watch sweden play against Germany, we were obviously hoping for a win.
I was just hoping for this whole thing to be over as soon as possible. The fact that so many people out there were calling me a slut and so many other things hurt. It hurt a lot.
-14:32-
We had finally got to the hotel and we sat down our stuff and decided to rest for a bit.
"I'm actually really tired" Stina said
"You slept the whole plane ride and the whole ride to the hotel" I said to her
"And your point is?" Stina asked
I didn't answer I just laughed at her as I sat down on the bed.
"What's on today's agenda?" Pontus asked
"Definitely meeting up Maja and Sanna" Stina said
And we all agreed to that.
"I'm gonna call Isaac, it's only appropriate I brought him into this mess and I can't avoid him forever" I said
Pontus and stina both just nodded understandingly.
I went out to the balcony to make the call for some reason I was nervous. I didn't want Isaac to me mad or annoyed at me since I was the one who got him mixed up in all of this.
I called him and after a couple of rings he finally answered.
"Oh So now you want to call me?" Was the first thing he said
"Isaac I'm sorry, I know I dragged you into this mess and I didn't want you to be mad at me" I said to him
"Why would I be mad at you? I know how the media is, I was more worried about you, I know what they're saying about you" he said to me
"It's rough but there's not a lot I can do about it, I put myself in this situation and it just up to me to get myself out of it" I said
"This is not your fault, you were just out with 2 friends" He said
"Yea, I don't know how it got so like twisted and messed up" I said
"I want the full story, details and all, but right now I have to go to training, but how about you come over tonight and tell me all about it" he said
"Isaac if I'm spotted going into your hotel it would make everything so much messier and you know it" I said
"Since when is Amanda Anderson scared of the paparazzi?" He asked
"Since thousands of people are calling me a slut and so many other things" I said
"Come of fuck them they're nothing but a bunch of lowlifes that write all this shit just to feel some what better about themselves" he said
"You show them you don't give a crap about what they say, they can talk all they want, their words means nothing" he said
"Okay, I'll see you tonight then" I said feeling a bit pumped up after his mini pep-talk
After hanging up, I went back inside to Stina and Pontus.
" how did it go?" Stina asked
"Okay, I'm seeing him at his hotel tonight you just to tell him everything so he gets the full story" I said
"Is that the best idea? You know, you entering his hotel" Pontus said
"No but what am I gonna do? Hide out?" I asked
"No but you understand where we're coming from" stina said
"Yes"
After a while of talking and resting a bit we went off to Maja and Sannas hotel. I could tell that they wanted to ask about the whole situation but were quite reluctant. After a while of chatting and just having fun Maja asked
"So how are you feeling after all That's happened"
"It's been a lot cuz it all just seemed to happen over night, one day I was unknown to the world and now there's a bounty on my head" I said
"Yea it must be rough, what has Marcus, Jesse and Isaac said?" Sanna asked
"I'm meeting up with Isaac tonight to talk and all of that, I haven't really talked to Jesse about it and I talked to Marcus about It and he was just so kind and supportive of it all" I said
"Why haven't you talked to Jesse about it?" Maja asked
"I haven't really had the chance I guess"
"Still don't know who you wanna chose out of them both?" Sanna asked
"No cuz it's so hard and as I said I don't want a relationship" I said
"If you had to choose who would you choose?" Maja asked
"I have no clue, who would you guys choose and give me an explanation to why you chose them" I said turning it back on them
"I don't know them like you do obviously but personally would choose Marcus just because I feel like I don't know you could like cuddle with him meanwhile Jesse just seems like a hit it and quit it type of guy" Stina said
"Okay, Sanna" i said
"I would choose Jesse just because he seems like a really funny and out going guy while Marcus seems shy" Sanna said
"Okay, Pontus your turn" I said
"Well Jesse just cuz he seems really fun guy and I love his style of playing" he said
"Okay Maja are you gonna make it 3-1 for Jesse or a tie?" I asked
"I'm gonna have to make it a tie" she said
"Okay why would you choose Marcus" I asked
"Do I really have too?" She asked
"Yes we all did" Stina said
"I've just heard some stuff about Jesse and it just turns me off from him" she said
"Yea but you can't always believe why you hear" Pontus said
"It's not only from the media, but victor told me about it and then Jesses girlfriend broke up with him" Maja said
"What was it?" Sanna asked
"He cheated on his girlfriend" Maja said
I was shocked I couldn't believe it, I never thought he'd cheat on someone.
"Well I thought he was a player but to cheat on your girlfriend that's on another level" I said
"This Is why I didn't want to explain, but I don't know the full story and you can't just take my word for it, people can obviously change and maybe like the relationship was really rocky and they were about to break up anyways, you're gonna have to talk to him and not go off of what I've told you" Maja said
"When did all of this happen?" I asked
"In like January" Maja said
"That was that long ago" Stina said
"Okay how about we drop this whole topic?" I asked.
We all agreed since we could sense the awkwardness in the room.
"How about we go out to get some food?" Sanna asked
"Yes that sounds good" Maja said as we all got up.
"Have you heard anything from victor, if he'll be playing?" I asked Maja
"No I haven't heard anything, It's so unsure, there's rumours going on that 5 of our starting eleven our sick" she said
"Shit didn't know we were that scared to face Germany" I joked
"I guess we'll have to see" I said
"So what are we doing for midsommar tomorrow?" Stina asked
"There's this big lunch thingy the wives and girlfriends/families are doing so if you guys want to come to that?" Sanna said
"Yea that would be fun" I said looking at Stina and Pontus who agreed with me.
-later that night-
I had arrived at Isaacs hotel and I was on the elevator on my way up to his room. After he opened the door to his room, he pulled me into a hug.
"You don't understand how much I needed that" I said as I hugged him back
After he let me go we walked into his room and sat down on the couch. After a bit of small talk Isaac asked
"So are you gonna tell me the full story or try to waste time?"
"Okay where do I start" I said
"From the beginning?"
"Okay so it started off with me staying in the same hotel as the English National team and at first I thought I'd never see any of them, then I saw them a couple of times said hi and all that, then one night I was up by the pool and Jesse joined me and then we talked and we got along, then he tried to kiss me" I said
"What did you do?" He asked
"I did the only thing I'm good at, i ran out of there, then Stina convinced me some how to go out with Marcus and it was those pic you saw in the articles, then I saw you at the sweden match, did you know anyone was taking pictures?"
"No I really didn't see anyone probably just paparazzi in the tunnels that happened to caught us on camera" he said
"Yea probably, after that I hung out with Jesse and those pics I'm guessing you saw too, then that same night in the hotel Jesse kissed me, honestly as much as I wanted it, I'm leaving in a month and I can't be falling in love with these guys so I told him that I just wanted to be friends" I said
"That might of been one of the stupidest things you've ever done" he said
"What why?"
"Cuz there's a guy you like that likes you back and instead of following your heart you decide to not take things further because you're too scared of getting hurt" he said
"I don't want to fall for someone I know I won't be seeing in like 3 weeks" I said
"Amanda I'm gonna give you some advice, sometimes you have to take risk, yes you might end up getting hurt, but you don't want to go around wandering for the rest of your life what if, unless you put yourself out there you'll never know if he's the one for you" Isaac said
"You think I should just go for it and see what happens?" I asked
"Yes that's exactly what I want you to do"
"But what if I can't choose between two guys?" I asked
"I think I'm the end you'll know who you want" he said
"Go out with them, get to know them if you want kiss them, slut it the fuck up" he said which made me start laughing.
"But if I'm spotted with any of them or even you the media will go crazy and the 'hate' will get worse" I said
"Fuck the haters, you know what's true and anything that they say doesn't mean shit" he said
"That is true, imagine the field trip the press would if they thought I was dating you, Marcus and Jesse" I said
"They already think that" Isaac said while laughing
"Should we put some fuel to the fire?" I asked
"What does that mean.." he trailed off
"Let's post a pic of us" I said
"Let's do it" he said
After posting the pic we just hung out after a while, talked about the sweden match.
The time was pretty late and right before leaving Isaac gave me some inspiring words
"Follow your heart and slut it up if you need to, if you need to fuck both of them to find out who you really like then do so, put yourself out there, be vulnerable" he said to me as he was giving me a hug.
Isaac always seemed to make me laugh and I just nodded. We said our byes and I took a taxi back to the hotel.

This is sort of a filler chapter and I promise the next one will be more interesting. It will have both Jesse and Marcus, promise. Hope you still enjoyed this chapter. The WiFi has been fucking up too so it's been hard to update and all.
