" Nawl I don't think I can do that" I said shaking my head.

" I know you only been here for a short amount of time but I really believe you should take over .... I'm getting old ... and sick" he said lowly
" what's going on ?"
He stared at me for a brief moment before he went to explain.
" I have prostate cancer"
" the doctor told I have no less than three months to live and I'm starting to feel the effects of it"

I couldn't believe James was tempting to leave me this shop. It's hella responsibilities that I'm not prepare for.

From their I drove all the way home thinking about what James said.
" how was work" Nia asked me coming in.
" it was ..... interesting"

" I got offer for a higher paying job"

"James is the owner of the car shop I work at and he wants to hand it down to me" I said staring at her reaction.

" yea I know but I told him I wasn't ready"

" I don't think I can handle that Nia, from the customers complaining, to the employees who don't like to show up to work, I don't want to deal with it"

I walked to the back taking off my clothes preparing myself for a needed shower when Nia came walking in.
I quickly grabbed the towel before she could see anything. She had the shock look on her face.
" I'm sorry but I-I just came to tell you dinner is almost ready"
