I woke up surprisingly cozy. I sit in the daydream of a soft warm bed when I become aware that a tan muscular arm wrapped around me. I open my eyes slowly. I follow the arm up to its owner and see that it was Alexander. I hold in a yelp as I realize that he was spooning me.
Just what was in that water?
I decide to keep it cool and not freak out. I gently shake him awake
"Are you lost?" I ask him.
"Nope im pretty sure im right where I want to be," he says hugging me tighter
"And im pretty sure you're not supposed to be in here," I say trying to get out of his hold.
"It's my house, "he says with an iron grip.
"It's my room and my rule," I state pushing against his chest.
He leans in closer to me. I can almost feel his lips on my ear.
"Why do you have to be so difficult," he whispers.
His dominant side was coming out and my struggling wasn't helping. Alexander was a predator, and I just invited him on a hunt.
"Can you please let go?" I ask trying a different approach.
"Do you not like me holding you?" he asks still whispering in my ear.
There was something about him being so quiet and still, that seemed even more threatening than if he was yelling and throwing things.
"N-no i-its not that I-" he cuts me off
"So you do like it when I hold you?" he says I can feel him smile. An evil smile he's playing with me.
"This isn't funny, Alexander," I scold managing not to stutter this time.
"I didn't say it was." his arm that was keeping me pinned slowly traced circles on my lower back.
I go stiff at the movement. He smiles at my reaction. He has me right where he wants me.
"Aww, Why so still all of a sudden? Where did that fire go?" he says challenging me to fight once again. Only so he can knock me down another peg
I knew he was enjoying it, me submitting. It made him feel powerful. But I knew he loved the hunt even more.
"Uh, I-I."I didn't know what to say.
He starts to laugh at my clear discomfort. He stops tracing circles on my back.
"Come on let's go get breakfast," he says getting off the bed.
I stay where I was. I couldn't move. Alexander rolls his eyes and walks over to my side of the bed. he bends down and picks me up. he brings me downstairs and sets me in the high chair. I've recovered enough to pout at the sitting arrangement, but I knew better than protest.
Alexander went to the fridge and go out some eggs and pre-chopped onions and bell peppers. he puts in the onion and bell peppers in a pan and sautees them. Then scrambles the eggs and add's them in. I watch him in the process of making omelets.
(I realize this is the second time omelets come up in the book, but maybe im just an omelet person.)
He places a plate on my try and cuts it up into small pieces. I was about to grab the fork so I could eat but he holds it away from me. Continuing on this domination streak, are we? He places a forkful of food in front of my mouth. I don't bite.
