(LUCY'S POV)
"I'M SO TIRED!!!" I groaned and dropped myself on Mira's bar.
"Want a drink, Lucy?" Mira asked sweetly.
"Coffee sounds better, at least I'll feel awake," my eyes lids were so heavy I couldn't even see.
"Coming right up, and please get off the table or else I'll have to pour the coffee on your head instead," I picked myself up with all the energy I had left and sat on the chair.
Natsu and Happy sat beside me, "Come on Luce it wasn't that bad. Didn't you have fun with us?"
"Might have been fun for you but can't say the same for me," I glared at him with my half-open eyes.
He suddenly looked a little depressed and a sad pout formed on his lips.
"What's the matter now?"
"Lucy didn't enjoy the mission," he faked a sniff and I just rolled my eyes.
Just then Mira came back with the coffee, it smelled so good.
"Here you go Lucy, how was the job?" she just had to ask. (-_-)
"Terrible!" I said while sipping a little.
"Why so?" she looked confused.
"Because a certain dragon slayer didn't want to take the train since he's scared of a little motion sickness. So we had to walk all the way back home from Hargeon," I glared daggers at him.
"Natsu, you made the poor girl walk here from Hargeon, that wasn't very nice of you," Mira scolded him a little, which he very much deserved.
"Yeah, I know but look on the bright side, we got to remember such good memories," his hand held his face with his elbow on the table.
I small smile appeared on my face. "True, it really made me feel nostalgic."
"Awww! Look, Lucy isn't mad at you anymore," Mira noticed it.
"Yeah, well fine, I forgive y-"
"YAY!!!" Both threw their hands in the air and yelled in my ears.
I chuckled at Natsu and Happy's childish behaviours, they really are something.
"Natsu is the only one who can make Lucy smile even in her worst moods, what a perfect relationship." Mira smiled at us.
We swung our arms and dropped them on each other's shoulders, giving a side hug, "After all, we're best friends."
"What about me!" Happy whined in sadness.
"You too buddy!" he flew to us and hugged us both.
Mira just watched us and smiled with pure happiness, "more like a family."
"Have you ever thought that you two would make great parents?" Mira popped the question out of nowhere.
We blankly looked at each other, "really?"
Just then, there was a sudden thunder crash. That sound sends shivers down my spine.
"Looks like it's gonna rain and really badly. Natsu, you should take Lucy home, this weather is really bad for a girl to walk the streets alone," Mira instructed Natsu.
"Alrighty! Let's go, Lucy!" He grabbed my arm and dragged me to the door.
"Take care, Mira, bye!" I waved her and she returned one too.

(LUCY'S APARTMENT)
"Natsu, you're still here? Mira told you to drop me not crash here for the night," I said while drying my hair after the shower.
"Fine, I'm leaving. Come on, Happy!" he walked up to the window.
"Wait a minute, it's raining outside?" I looked through the glass when he pulled the curtains.
"Yup, started a few minutes after you went to take a bath." He said still reaching to open it until I grabbed his arm.
"What do you think you are doing? How are you gonna get home with it raining cats and dogs outside?"
"Well, you told me to leave so that's what I was gonna do," he looked at me with a confused expression.
I sighed, "fine, you can stay here for the night," and they cheered.
Just then...
KNOCK – KNOCK
"Who could it be at this hour?" we looked at each other.
"I'll go check, you and Happy stay here." Natsu started heading to the door.
I sat down on my bed and waited for Natsu to come back. It was pretty weird to have someone on the door at this time. It could be a guild member in need of last-minute shelter in this rain. I don't think I can handle anyone more than Natsu and Happy for the night.
It had been a while since he was gone now. It doesn't take this much time to answer a door. What's taking him so long?
"Who is it, Natsu?" he closed the door behind him.
I saw a basket in his hands, "What's that? Did you see what's in it?"
He nodded.
