"Gah! Present Mic is so noisy!" Nikita groaned as she clapped her hands over her ears folding them down atop her head as she trailed after Shoto through their entry tunnel to the stadium.

"How good is your hearing exactly, Nikita?" Midoriya asked her curiously as they waited for their cue.

"I can hear your heartbeat from here, if that's any indication." The cat girl giggled. "Even over the loudmouth."

"That's insane, so what's Present Mic sound like right now?" Kirishima asked her.

"Like he's in my brain with a megaphone." Nikita grumbled causing her classmates to laugh.

"I might be able to help with that." Yaoyorozu noted and Nikita watched in awe as she pulled a set of headphones from her arm and handed them to the cat girl.

"Thank you, Momo-san!" Nikita beamed and snapped the headphones over her ears drowning out Present Mic's wailing. "Yay! I can't hear anything!" She squealed causing her classmates to cringe, "Am I talking too loud?!"

Everyone laughed at this and nodded.

Nikita giggled, "Sorry."

Class 1A made their way onto the stadium field once they received their cue. Nikita could sense her classmates' terror and nervousness as it enveloped her almost taking a physical form. One of the perks of having a cat quirk meant, she tended to not be bothered by much of anything. While she didn't much care to be the center of attention, it didn't stress her out unnecessarily. She scanned the packed stadium trying to find Craven.

Someone tapped her on the shoulder from behind and she spotted Shoto motioning for her to remove her headphones and pointed into the stands. Nikita removed one of the headphones away and cringed as she heard a high-pitched deafening squeal from the stands, so loud it was drowning out Present Mic.

"WOO HOO! NIKITA!" Lavender was obnoxiously jumping up and down in the stands with the rest of the tenants randomly changing the colors of everyone's attire as she smacked those around her to an array of bright colors.

Nikita couldn't help but laugh as she waved to her crazy new family. "Aw, they're all so mental."

Shoto shook his head, "That's putting it lightly."

"I like my crazy new family. They're good people." Nikita grinned. She spotted Toma and his mother sitting in the row in front of the other tenants and felt her heart swell as she noticed them cheering for her too. "I feel bad they all came to cheer me on, I wasn't really planning on trying all that hard."

Shoto looked to her curiously, "Why? This is how you'll get noticed."

"I could always stand out enough in the first round and finish after the cut off so I make a good impression and can take a nap the rest of the day." Nikita giggled. "Since they film everything."

"That seems kind of devious." Toru piped in surprising Shoto who hadn't realized she'd been right behind him.

"But I don't like sports and its sunny out, its perfect napping weather." Nikita whined.

"You say all weather is perfect napping weather." Shoto held back a smile.

"Well that's because all weather is perfect napping weather for kitties." She giggled. Her golden gaze flicked to the entrance of one of the other stadium tunnels and she smiled as she spotted Jace with the rest of the general studies students.

His titanium eyes wandered in her direction to find the cat girl waving at him with a big grin. A faint blush claimed his cheeks as he timidly waved back at her. Shoto looked to her curiously before looking to see who she was waving at. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed a frown cross his face but when she turned to him it was gone. His dad's presence was putting him in an ill mood.
