The second event was a cavalry battle, due to her team of misfits having the lowest scores all the other teams completely ignored them and they scraped by to the finals much to Nikita's displeasure. Shoto had used his left side against Midoriya though he'd vowed not to rely on it claiming it was his father's quirk and he wanted no part of it. No matter what Nikita tried to tell him about his quirk being his own, he was too stubborn and his hatred for his father ran too deep to be reasoned with. Once the second stage was over Shoto disappeared, wanting to be alone.

Nikita flopped onto a patch of grass in the sun to try and catch a cat nap while everyone else participated in a scavenger hunt. She'd just closed her eyes and began to drift to sleep when she felt herself being picked up.

"H-Hey?!" She hissed as she was pulled away from her sunny spot, "What's the big idea?!" Her claws were out and she swatted at her captor who dropped her with a yowl of pain. Her eyes narrowed into a glare as she spotted the crimson haired, Kirishima smiling at her sheepishly. "What are you doing?"

He held up a small white index card with a single word scrawled across it. Cat. For the scavenger hunt. "Come on, be a good sport."

"What?! No! I was trying to take a nap!" Her tail flicked in annoyance behind her and her ears were laid back expressing her anger. Before she could reprimand him again she was picked up by a student she didn't know, one of the kids from hero class 1B. "HEY! Put me down!"

The boy also had a scavenger hunt card with the word 'cat' on it. He looked similar to Kirishima with a tough looking face, but his hair was a grey color and his pale grey eyelashes were so thick they almost looked like a mask painted on his face.

"Hey! That's mine!" Kirishima yelled and bolted after them.

"What?!" Nikita snarled. "YOU IDIOTS BETTER LEAVE ME ALONE!" Her body shifted and contorted and the boy holding her dropped her with a gasp staring in awe at the giant Saber Tooth Tiger before them. She let out a roar that shook the earth beneath their feet.

Kirishima and the grey-haired boy took off in a somewhat manly panic, bickering with each other as they bolted as to whose fault it was that the cat demon had snapped. Nikita chased them off for a short while before phasing back to her normal form.

Sighing she left the stadium in search of Shoto. She found him having a somewhat heated looking conversation with Midoriya but they went separate ways before she could intervene. Midoriya met her gaze and offered her a nervous smile. Shoto must have told him about his father and what had happened with his mother.

Nikita watched Shoto walk away with a heaviness in her heart. Her stomach churned unpleasantly. She didn't like the look on his face but knew he'd tell her he wanted to be alone if she tried to run after him now. Her golden cat like eyes flicked in Midoriya's direction and she offered him a warm smile.

"I thought I saw Uraraka and all the other girls in our class wearing cheerleader uniforms, want to go check it out? We might be able to watch Jiro and Momo beat the daylights out of Mineta and Kaminari." She forced herself to giggle and seem unaffected as she stretched her hand out to Midoriya. He looked a little shell-shocked after his talk with Shoto.

"Ah, sure." Midoriya smiled and accepted her hand allowing her to pull him back toward the stadium.

"I hope you don't think badly of Sho-chan..." Nikita dropped her gaze to the ground, her ears drooped as her mood began to dwindle, "He's not mean...and I know he'll be the best hero ever..." Tears welled in her eyes.
