Gavin groaned and turned down the hand offering to help him out of the vehicle.
Once he was out he noticed six or seven different police cars outside of the house.
Colin walked through the caution hologram and waited for Lieutenant Reed to follow suite.
Upon enter the house Lieutenant Reed immediatley noticed Lieutenant anderson, face in his hand crouching near the body.
"Hello, Detective Reed."
A familiar cheerful voice called.
Gavin sighed but replied.
"Hello, Connor. And it's Lieutenant."
He replied, somewhat suprising the android.
Colin walked in behind him.
"Connor could you share the details of the case with Colin?"
Reed muttered lighting a cigarette.
A suprised Connor snapped out of his stupor and nodded.
"Yes of course. And my apologies Detec- Lieutenant."
Him and Colin looked at one another, their LED's flashing yellow.
"Gordon Pier, forty-two years old worked at Cyberlife as an assistant to the engineers, Died approximately 3:32 AM, neighbors heard a struggle then a single gunshot. Subject died from Hypovolemic Shock."
Colin stated smoothly.
Gavin turned to Colin in confusion.
"Hypo.....voleemic...what?"
Colin restrained from sighing.
"Blood loss, sir. He was hit in one of his main Arteries."
Conner interjected.
"Yes, and it would appear after rebuilding what happened, he was still alive for a couple of minutes afterwards. Long enough so to attempt to crawl towards the phone and call his neighbors. The call was recorded at exactly 3:27 AM. Exactly five minutes before he succumbed to blood loss."
Gavin turned to the Android.
"He called his neighbor? Why in the fuck didn't he just call the cops or an ambulance????"
Colin shook his head.
"We're not exactly sure yet, Lieutenant Reed. Although considering the circumstances and no sign of forced entry, he might have knew or trusted the android."
Gavin shook his head.
("And thats why you can't trust these fucking things...")
He thought sourly.
"Lieutenant Reed, there seems to be no sign of the murder weapon, nor any prints."
"So it was definetley an android then?"
"Yes." Colin nodded.
Gavin sighed, pinching his temples.
"Exactly how long since the murder occurred?"
"Well seeing as it's currently 6:12 AM, and the murder occurred at 3:32 AM its been exactly three hours and twenty minutes since it occurred."
Gavin nodded.
"How long did it take for an officer to arrive at the scene?"
"The neighbors hadn't thought much of the noise and went back to sleep, not heeding the phone call, either. They eventually woke up around 5 AM, listened to the voicemail and quickly left to check on Pier. They had to look through several windows before they Noticed the body. Thats why this wasn't reported until 5 this morning and an officer was not at the scene until 5:10 AM this morning, seeing as I woke you to tell you of the report a mere 26 minutes after a officer was on the scene."
"So your telling me an officer was not here until 2 hours after it occurred??"
"Yes Lieutenant. Well, 2 hours and 42 minutes to be exact."
Ugh. Fucking smartass.
"So theres a chance the fucking Deviant left the property?"
"Yes, Lieutenant." Colin said calmly.
Gavin let out a string of curses.
Connor turned towards a nearby officer.
"We should still Send officers to scan the perimeter and make sure nobody is still on the property. Just in case."
The Officer nodded and left to help secure the perimeter.
