Fanboy
Chapter one
Tori

Sixteen year old Tori sat in the bus with her earphones in her ears. Her long curly brown hair fell on her book as she read.

"Tori, your not going to believe what happened to me this morning!" Sam slid in the seat next to her. His black hair messy like he didn't even brush it this morning. Of course he hadn't. He wore dark blue jeans, a black T-shirt that read Fanboy, black tennis shoes, and his signature headphones which hung around his neck.

"What?" She wasn't happy to look up from her book but everyday something really funny happens at Sam's house. His family could be a reality TV show and no one would ever get bored.

"No it's not funny this time." He confirmed reading her mind.

"I'm reading go away." She looked back at her book.

"No. Listen."

"Fine. What?" She looked back up now mad.

"My mom invited my cousin to live with us and I have to be friends with him." Sam never had friends and never wanted them. The only reason why they were friends was because they were both fangirl and fanboy. They both loved books and fanfiction. And they were every socially awkward.

"Poor you." She went back to reading.

"Tori, I don't like being in the same room as him. He's one of them." He pointed to the populars. "I don't like him an now I have to live with him, be his friend, and be in the same school as him."

"Why is he coming to live with you?" She asked still reading.

"He got kicked out of his school and his mother thought it would be good for him to get away from there for awhile." He crossed his arms below his chest.

"Just stay in your room and read like you always do." She suggested.

"Mother told me I couldn't." He pulled a book out of his backpack and started reading. This is what they always did talked less and read more.

______________Later______________

"Tori, want to see a movie tonight?" Sam sat down next to her in the lunch room. The table was empty expect for them. People thought of them as 'strange'.

She knew he was talking about their favorite book that became a movie. They always waited a little but afterward to see if the reviews were good. "Sure but I'll have to ask my mom." She pulled out her blue cased phone to text her mom.

After texting her she scrolled through her blog notifications. Her book blogs was more popular than than she was in real life. Sam and her each started an account together to share book reviews with others. Soon, it turned into a place were people loved it see what they thought about a book.

Tori posted a picture of the book she just finished and started typing. "Though this book was short and didn't have a lot of detail it was a great book for ages 10-12." Sometimes authors posted her and Sam's reviews on the back of their books. Her goal was to get her review for her favorite book posted on the book.

She took a few bits of her apple and then her phone beeped. "My mom said okay but I can't stay out late."

"Yeah, me ether. My cousin is coming tomorrow." People thought it was weird how they talked to each other but still continue to read.

Sam and Tori walked out of the movie theater together. The movie was horrible. Nothing like the book. The characters were suppose to be fifteen not thirty.

Sam open the door to his old black truck. She slide into the seat next to him and pulled out a book to read. The truck was dirty it had soda cans and books everywhere. But mostly books.

He started the car and she read it. She started crying her eyes out. No this couldn't happen. She was so young so innocent. She was the main character.

"What happened?" Sam asked.

"Spoiler. Someone dies." She wiped a few tires away.

"I'm sorry." She knew he meant it. He knew what it was like to lose a favorite book character. After all he was a fanboy.
