Tori
She woke up to the beep of her computer. Rushing to it she found an email form the publishers.
"Thank you for sending your review in. We see you are a famous reviewer and would love to have your review on the book." She started fangirling. "Unfortunately, another famous reviewer also wants his review on the book. There is only room for one. In order to decide we want you to write a short story to decide. Please send it in from at least two weeks or three. We would love you to here from you soon. Thank you." Another famous reviewer. Harry. He was her number one rival. He ether got the review on a book or her. She could obey hope she would write a good short story.
Tori got up to put on her cloths. Worn out jeans, The Fault In Our Starts t-shirt, and tennis shoes. Then, she went downstairs to get something to eat.
Her mom, dad, and two younger siblings sat at the table. The table had toast and bacon waiting in it her her. Tori took a seat near her eight year old bother, Zach, and started down on the bacon.
Once, she was finished she rushed off to the bus stop. A few others stood there so she took out a book. Still reading the bus came. She got on it and sat in her usual seat.
Tori pushed her earphones in her ears and started listening to classical music. She usually listen to this when she was tired. Tori would rest her eyes but never fall asleep. She would only fall asleep with Sam was there to stop the others from drawing on my face, stilling my money, etc.
Finally, Sam arrived so she could sleep. "I'm going to catch a few Zs. Goodnight." She told him as he sat next to her.
_____________Sam________________
He had a horrible morning. His younger sister was lost and they finally found her in the laundry basket. Then, his four year old bother set fire to his homework. How do you explain that to a teacher? My younger bother set fire to it. I'm truly sorry. He worked so hard on it.
Sam looked over to see Tori fast asleep. He should probably at least start on his homework. So with that he pulled out a piece of paper and started. Four plus four plus four. Tobias plus Tobias plus Tobias. He thought.
Before he got off the bus he woke Tori up. "Get up, Sleeping Beauty." He shook her awake.
"Go away. I'm sleeping." She punched him on the arm.
"Ouch!" He yelled. "Fine be on the bus alone." He started to get off and finally Tori follower behind him.
"They wrote me back." She told him.
"And?" He asked as he held the school door open for her.
"Harry and I have to wright a short story to see who gets the spot." She pouted.
"It's okay. Harry isn't that great anyway." He tried to cheer her up. They reach their locker which was right next to each other. He turned the lock to open it. Once, the locker was open he grabbed his school supplies and a few extra books. Few wasn't the right word. He manage to carry all his books and offered to carry Tori's. With all books he headed to his first class of the day.
______________Dylan______________
He looked for somewhere to sit for lunch. His fellow football players ask if he wanted to sit with them but he declined it.
Dylan saw that Tori sat alone. Her curly brown hair was thrown up in a ponytail to get it out of the away of her reading. It just made her cuter.
Dylan walked up to her table which was empty except for her. "Is this seat taken?" He asked. Still looking at her book she nodded no. Dylan sat next to her and pulled out Romeo and Juliet.
"Isn't it the best book ever?" She asked still looking at her book.
"Yes. One of my favorites." He smiled. He wasn't the only one that loved this book. His nerdy side always loved classics.
They continued to read and eat in silence till Sam came. His headphones boomed music as they hung from his neck.
"So a short story. What are you thinking about doing?" He asked sitting down.
"I don't know yet but it's going to be so good Harry would have to be a noble prize winning to beat it." Harry Dylan jumped at the name. Short story. He was going to throw up. He rushed out of the lunch room.
What's wrong with Dylan? Comment if you think you know. Please review, vote, follow, etc. Thanks for reading <4
