The next morning you woke up with Johnny's arms still around you but since you had to pee you managed to wiggle out of his grasp and slip away to the bathroom with some clothes.

You walked downstairs and ate breakfast before going back upstairs to see if Johnny was awake and he was "hey Johnny" he smiled "hey Y/n" you walked over to him "we should go for a walk before our date tonight" he nodded then you started to look for something else while talking to him "so get dressed into something your comfortable and won't get to hot in and I'll go change into something else while you do ok" he chuckled "ok Ms.Bossy" you flipped him off then walked out with a new pair of clothes. You had put on a pair of black yoga pants and a purplish blue tank top that said 'she who dares' then put your hair up into a messy bun (if you have short hair you can do something else) then walled out of the bathroom only to see both Johnny's standing there talking and laughing "ready to go Johnnycake" he looked at you and did elevator eyes then blushed when he met your gaze "y-yeah lets go" he suddenly seemed shy again. You walked out with Johnny right behind you but stopped after closing the door you held your hand up and smiled at Johnny when he looked at you like you were crazy "oh come on just hold my hand I know we're not dating but come on Johnnycakes" he blushed and slowly took your hand in his.

Time skip

Johnny pov

Everyone kept starring at us as we walked down the side walk we've been out for about two hours so it was twelve "hey Y/n we never set up a time for our....ya know" she giggled making me blush "we can walk back to the house and change then walk back or have my aunt drive us"

We decided to just walk back into town after changing which is what we're currently doing. We walked into Arby's and there was a large group of Socs and they kept staring at us mainly Y/n and I'm sure I know why "Y/n those Socs keep starrin' at us" she turned and looked at them then grabbed my hand "so they're just jealous because you have me and not them" she has a good point.

Y/n pov

I could tell the Socs were freaking Johnny out because he still plays with his fingers and looks over his shoulder like he has since I met him so I tried to distract him "hey J.C have you ever heard of the Sausage song?" he looked at me weird "uh depends does it start off a certain way?" I nodded "it starts off by going everybody say sausage keep it goin'" he chuckled "yeah Pony showed it to me he thought it was the funniest thing ever" I started laughing "well I was thinking that if I ever visit Tulsa or you ever visit where I live we should get each others attention with that song so.." he finished my sentence "so it would be something that connects us" I nodded "yeah pretty much" it was finally our turn to order so we ordered then found a booth that sat only two.

After we finished eating we decided to walk to the ice ponds but when we got there it was infested with Socs so we turned around and started walking somewhere else when I heard a car engine rev up next to me and watched Johnny turn white like a ghost "what's a broad like you doin' with a greaser like him" certain things tick me off and that is one of those things.

No ones pov

"excuse me?" the driver looked at you funny "are you deaf girly I said..." you got a bit of attitude with him "I heard you slime bag" you felt Johnny pull on your arm as soon as they started getting out of the car "what'd you say you little bitch?" his words hurt you because of your past but you tried blocking it out "what are you deaf now or to drunk to understand anything" he growled "Y/n lets go" Johnny pulled on your arm again and you started walking with him and didn't realize they followed you "Johnny I'm sorry" he looked at you his color was somewhat back "I-It's ok I just d-don't have very good luck with Socs that's how I got my scar" you nodded "I have lots of scars from them but they're just in places you can't see" It was quiet for a while before Johnny looked over his shoulder they had stopped following the two of you "you do know they were following us right" "yeah but normally if you ignore them they can be like a dog and leave" he laughed.

It had been quiet for the past few minuets and neither of you had moved an inch and that's when Johnny looked up and into your eyes and you looked into his and slowly leaned closer and closer until you were only centimeters apart and could feel his breath on your lips "Y/n I...I love you I truly do" you blushed and so did he "I love you to Johnny" you leaned closer and that's when it happened....
