After dinner, we all sit and stare at for a minute. "So, since we've established that the three of us know a fair amount about you, or at least the yous that you guys post online, do y'all have any questions for us? I know that I have pretty much zero social media presence, so I gotta believe there's something you want to know," I say tentatively.
"Oh, oh, oh! I have an idea," Kian exclaims.
"And that would be," Everleigh asks with a raised eyebrow.
"What if we play a game of Never Have I Ever to get to know everyone," he says smirking.
"I'm down," I say.
"Yeah, I could be into that," Ev says with a nod. Harper nods with a nervous smile, while Corey eagerly agrees, and Bobby joins the bandwagon.
"Well, since Never Have I Ever was your idea, Kian, why don't you go first," I suggest
"Ooooh, not the smartest choice, but it's your funeral," Corey mutters.
"Okay everybody, never have I ever broken a bone," Kian says.
Corey, Bobby, and I all put our fingers down. Kian gives me an eyebrow. "Oh goodness, well, I did gymnastics for about 11 years growing up, so with the amount of times I ate shit, it's a wonder I'm not dead. But I broke my left middle finger, possibly fractured my left collarbone, but I never actually had it checked out. I sprained both ankles on the same day, oh and I have this wonky elbow thing. Here look, feel right there," I say as I show him the spot where my tendon slides over my bone. Kian feels the tendon snap and immediately pulls his hand away.
"Yuck! What the hell was that!?! Why does it do that," he yells.
"Not really sure, but it's always a fun party trick. Anyone else wanna feel," I ask. Corey checks it out and has a similar reaction to Kian, but Bobby passes.
"Okay, my turn," Everleigh says, "Never have I ever gotten stitches."
"Does surgical glue count," I ask, "because if so you can count both my surgeries. It seems that every decade one of my internal organs rebels against my body. I had my appendix out when I was seven and my gallbladder needed to come out when I was seventeen. Weird, I know, but its a thing."
Corey puts a finger down, while the rest of us leave ours up. "My turn," he says, "Never have I ever been in handcuffs."
"Duuuuuuuude," Kian shouts and puts a finger down.
"What? These girls look innocent enough, but you never know," Corey says with a chuckle.
"Okay, my turn. Let's make this interesting. Never have I ever been kissed," I say as I feel myself blushing.
Everyone puts their fingers down, while Corey responds, "I find that very hard to believe."
"It's true. I'm not the kind of girl that draws attention from boys. That's usually my hot friends' job," I look at my hands, slightly embarrassed.
"Okay, my go," Bobby says, "Never have I ever made Jell-O shots." Corey, Kian, and I all put down our fingers. We continue playing the game until Kian and Corey have no fingers left.
By this point, it's three o'clock in the morning and the three of us girls are passing out from sleep deprivation and jet lag. The boy's can see that we are tired and begin the migration back to their places. As he heads out the door, Kian says, "We'll let y'all get some sleep, but would you girls want to hang out tomorrow?"
"Absolutely," Everleigh says before shutting the door and we all head to bed.
