Cemetery Weather (Kellic)

Chapter 2

When Justin hit Vic the whole hall gasped. Vic touched his jaw and everyone saw blood drop from his lip.

"This is going to be good." Mike commented.

"Too late to back out now." Jaime yelled at Justin.

"Somebody film this." Tony yelled at the crowd.

Vic's eyes became filled with rage. He but his lip and lunged himself at Justin, sending them both to the ground. I got closer so I could see because everyone was filming like Tony told them to. Vic was on top of Justin punching his face. Justin rolled over and stood up waiting for Vic.

Vic got up and seemed to be getting furious by the second. Justin swung and hit Vic in the chest. Vic attacked Justin sending him crashing to the floor as he threw punch after punch. I couldn't let Vic kill this guy, and on his first day.

I pushed my way past the crowd and pulled Vic off of Justin and punched him. Everyone immediately backed up. The teachers started coming and held Vic back. I picked up Justin and put his arm over my shoulder as I boosted him up.

"You'll regret this." Vic said in a monotone voice that was more scarier than his yelling.

The teachers carried him away and one told me to take Justin to the nurse. I could hear faint laughing as the student body watched over the fight again.

"Hey, post this on YouTube and someone send me the link." Tony yelled.

"I got you bro, I got it all." I knew that was Mike who said that.

I carried Justin down the stairs, he was wincing at every step we took.

"Why are you soo dumb? Do you want to cause trouble for yourself?" He chuckled and then groaned in pain.

"I just don't like bullies. That's why I came here to get a fresh start." He took his hand to his bleeding nose.

"Well it's not much of a fresh start now." I scolded him.

We walked into the nurse's office and I explained to her what happened. She said she wasn't surprised this was Vic's doing. She asked me to stay with Justin a while and she would write me an excuse to class. I stayed because I'd rather be in here than out there where Vic could possibly hurt me.

We weren't in there long before an office aide came in and told us we were needed in the principal's office. I helped Justin up and put his arm around me to stabilize him so he wouldn't fall. We slowly walked to the office, passing Vic who was seated next to the secretary. He smirked at me when he saw I was helping Justin.

"You boys go ahead and go in." The lady at the desk told us. We went inside and Principal Paxton was waiting for us.

"Grab a seat boys." I helped Justin sit down before taking one of my own. "Now why don't you guys tell me what happened today?" I looked at Justin, I knew he would tell.

"Well that Vic dude was being a jerk to me in first period, he pulled me from the chair I was sitting in and when I got in the hall I confronted him. He told me to punch him so I did and he attacked me." He explained.

I put my head in my hands. I feared Vic and so did everyone in this school. He didn't seem fazed at all by him, not the slightest ounce of fear was in him. Hasn't he ever heard the phrase 'snitches get stitches.' Vic will surely kill this guy.

"Hmmm. Is this true Kellin. I shrugged. "Kellin, why don't you tell me your story." Shit

"Uh, well I don't know what happened in first period I was reading." I lied. "But im that's true in the hall and I pulled Vic from him and punched him to stop." I admitted.
