Me and Vic talked everything out that night. He laid in bed with me and we stared at the ceiling just talking. Occasionally fumbling with our fingers.
Things went better than I actually expected. He understood when I told him that I wasn't planning on taking my mom's scarf off. He didn't say anything else on it, just accepted it.
When we went to sleep that night he held me close. Telling me how I was the one for him and always will be. It was sweet of him, I couldn't imagine thing any better.
How he made that song for me and sang it was incredible. I didn't think he really felt that way about me. He's always been upset when I don't express myself but he still likes me. He's even said that it was love he felt, while I only like him.
I know that I like him more than I put on but I don't want to take the chance. What if I do tell him I love him? What will happen then? I don't want to be around to find out. I think I'll just wait it out.
The morning after the concert, Vic and I got up early. He had to get packed and ready for the tour. He and Tyler coaxed me into going. I didn't want to disappoint Vic, even after last night. I went and was kind of pretty excited.
When we finished and were ready to go I stayed behind for a bit. Vic was putting the suitcases in his car anyways, so I had some time. I sat down with Mike and Tyler, telling them about last night.
"That's great. Did you enjoy it?" Tyler asked.
"Yeah, a little." I admitted.
"I'm glad you did. So when will the tour be over?" He laid down in Mike's lap.
"Uh, I don't know. But I'll be sure to text you everyday." I took out my phone and held up one of me and Vic's silly pictures. "I'll be sure to send you plenty of these."
"Thanks." He sat up and kissed me. "Love you. Have fun."
I stood up and waved to him and Mike. As I got to the door, Vic was coming in after me. He grabbed the last bag and shuffled to the door. I got in the car while he stuffed the bag inside the car.
I watched Vic's muscular arms force the bag into the car. It didn't look like he was using much strength. His veins slightly showing in his arms with every push. I heard him chuckle and I saw he had been looking at me.
His eyes met mine as we both were looking out the rear view mirror. I felt my cheeks go red from the embarrassment of being caught. He finished and closed the door, coming around to the driver's side.
"You know, all you have to do is ask if you want to admire my muscles." He said arrogantly.
"I don't want to." I shrugged off. I didn't want him to think he had me.
"Okay." He gave up and started the car.
We blasted music on our way to the bus. Playing All Time Low and Of Mice & Men mostly. I guess we were almost there when Vic turned down the radio. I could faintly hear Break Your Little Heart playing.
"What do you want for your birthday?" Vic's voice carrying over the radio.
"Uh, I don't know. Aren't you guys still going to be touring?" I questioned. He said they'd be touring for some months and my birthday is next month.
"Yeah, but we can still do something." He said keeping his eyes locked on the road.
"Um, I don't know." I stared out the window at the billboards and signs we passed.
"I'll think of something. It'll be fun." I looked at him and he winked at me.
"Okay." I tried to hold back my smile but I couldn't. He made me happier than anything else could.
