This chapter is dedicated to KaciDanielle because she was able to knock me out of my very long writers block. I am SO sorry I have taken so long to update. I can not express to you my sorrow for making you wait this long. Anyways, thank you for sticking with me through thick and thin guys!

Hayley marched up and down the hallway, a stake in her hand.

She knew exactly who she had to kill, and she was seeing red.

It was their fault. How could they be so cruel to such an innocent child. If wasn't her fault that she was born a hybrid.

Hayley slowed her marching and felt her neck. It was like she could still feel the gash that killed her. She was killed. She would never get older. She would never die. Good. Even better chance to save Hope.

She knocked herself out of her thoughts and started walking faster, her feet pounding against the concrete under her.

"Hayley." Elijah said, but to Hayley it sounded more as a command.

It had only been yesterday that Klaus, Hayley, and Elijah fought about her decision.

Elijah had stalled her for a day, but when she woke up this morning, she refused to let her anger subside. She was new to the hybrid thing. She hadn't learned how to control her emotions yet. She had to kill someone, anyone.

Elijah didn't move from of his spot as Hayley marched past him, not even acknowledging his existence.

"Hayley!" Elijah commanded louder, this time expressing his complete seriousness.

Hayley stopped at the tone of his voice but did not turn around.

"You can storm through the quarter and kill as many as you wish, but that will not bring her back. You must have patience Hayley." Elijah said, walking closer to her where she had stopped.

Elijah was worried for her. He loved this woman. He loved both Hayley and the baby so much that it pained him. He wanted Hope back just as much as Hayley did, but it would take time and planning. Hayley acted on impulse, just as Niklaus, and while Niklaus' methods did scare many, they did not use strategy, and that is what would bring Hope back.

"Patience my ass, Elijah." Hayley said, turning around and looking at Elijah, who was only about 10 inches away from her.

"Do you understand what happened the day that I thought you died?" Elijah said, looking at both of Hayley's eyes, switching back and forth in concentration.

Hayley chose to stay silent. She did not want to change her mind.

"I was devastated. I let you in Hayley, and I don't let people in. Somehow you keep me sane, while being the one who drives me insane. I don't know how you have managed to do it, but you have. The thought of you not being here to light this place up with your laugh and smile broke me. I was broken. When I saw you enter the cemetery that day, alive and breathing, I could not express the relief that I felt. I have lived thousands of years Hayley, and I know that you want to get revenge, but if you truly want Hope back, you will have to strategize. Not rampage through the city killing people." Elijah said, placing his hands comfortingly on Hayley's shoulders.
