Chapter 4

Allison's P.O.V.

Watching Austin read the directions wasn't exciting. He read them after he couldn't put up the tents, so I decided to climb a tree while he was reading.

"Don't read too fast Austin, your gonna hurt yourself!" I said giggling. "You think your funny. huh?" He said laughing in return. "Well yes, as a matter of fact, I do!" I said with a little bit of sass in my tone. "Fine! Then I will do this without reading!" he said in a grumpy tone of voice.

He was struggling once again, and I was laughing even harder because he was pouting this time. I was laughing so hard that my mom and Michelle left for a hike to get away from the noise.

Then after a few seconds I was laughing so hard that I fell out of the tree. That's all I remember.

Austin's P.O.V.

I was frustrated but I can't imagine how I must look. Pretty stupid I assumed. I heard something hitting the ground I looked over to Allison to see if she heard it, but she wasn't there. I looked down from where she was and I was freaking out. I ran over to her and tried to hold in the tears so I could see where she was hurt.

"ALLISON! ALLISON!" I shouted as I ran over to her. "C'mon Allison say something, speak up!" I said screaming in fear. She had a giant scrape on her arm and a bruise the size if my hand on her thigh. I picked her up and carried her over to the car. "DAMMIT! THE FUCKING CAR IS LOCKED!" I screamed I put her down next to the car and ran to the tents.

Ok, ok I have to stop fooling around and put one of these tents up before the sun sets. I quickly put up one of the tents and put mine and Ali's blankets and pillows in the tent. I brang 2 pillows and 3 blankets. I put 2 on her side so she would sleep ontop of them, then she will use her own blanket to cover her. I gave her both of my pillows and is kept one of my blankets.

After all of the setting up in the tent I went over to Allison. She was still passed out. I picked her up and put her on the comfortable spot I made her. The sun was about to set, so I got out of the tent, zipped it up, and started a bon fire. As soon as I get the fire started I hear a voice from in side the tent.

It was Allison. I ran to the tent and went inside. She tried to get up but then she fell down. I felt bad, I should have been watching her more carefully. Now I feel like I'm acting like an over protective boyfriend.

Allison's P.O.V.

I woke up in the tent. I didn't know how I got in their. I looked at my legs and I froze. "Uhh" I practically screamed. Austin then came running in. I tried to get up but then I fell back down. Not just the bruise hurt, my ankle hurt too. Austin looked at me and he looked worried. "Ali, I'm so so so sorry! I didn't mean for this to happen and I should have been watching you mor-" I interrupted him. "Stop! it's not your fault! it's mine! I shouldn't have climbed that tree. And stop acting like an overprotective boyfriend!" I said jokingly to that last part. He looked away and then looked back. I could tell he was crying. I'm not sure when but, he was.

"I made a fire and now I need to put up the other tent. I'm sorry I can't do anything about those cuts I didn't bring a first-aid kit." he said apologizing. "But wait." he said stopping for a moment. "My mom always keeps a first-aid kit in the trunk if the car! oh wait, it's locked."

After a few seconds passed, he got up and started to run towards the car. I heard a door open, but I got confused because he said that it was locked.

He came back with a first-aid kit. He sat down infront of me and took out disinfecting wipes, gauze pads, an Ace Bandage, bandages, and medical tape. "Sorry if this hurts!" he said looking up at my face. He looked at my left cheek and he scrunched his nose. "Your cheek, I didn't see it before." he said. I haven't said a lot but he started to rub my cheek with the disinfecting wipes, then he put the gauze on my face and tapes it with medical tape. He looks at my arm and put the disinfecting wipe on then the gauze on the giant scrape. Then he looks at my thigh and wraps it in the Ace Bandage.

After he was done I tried to stand up agin but I couldn't. It was my ankle. He looked at me and said "Does something else bother you?" I shook my head and pointed at my ankle."I guess I'll have to carry you everywhere." Austin said. I wasn't in the mood for talking so I just cried. It didn't feel like the right time but that's all I could so other than talk.

"Don't cry, it's gonna be ok. I promise." He said wrapping his arms around me. "Why did you climb that high anyway?" I didn't want to say anything so I just put my head on his chest and continued crying.

Ok so this took me a while to write but it's all good. I like writing these so I don't care. Lol well I think Austin is a sweetheart in this one. Thanks for reading ~xoxo Ali Mahone
